We have an exciting and varied opportunity for a Health Services Finance Team Leader to join the Finance Operations Team here at AXA on a 12 month Fixed Term contract. The purpose of this role is to manage the various Health Services financial operation functions, whilst leading and mentoring a team of Financial Operations Administrators.

What you'll be doing:


Oversee all payments to affiliates, ensuring these are paid accurately and within agreed timescales.
Manage AXA’s cost processing queue, ensuring cases in our Customer Relationship Management system are accurate and processed within specified deadlines.
Supervise the invoicing process to our clients, including overseeing the allocating of payments received and reconciling clients’ accounts.
Manage our credit control function, ensuring that outstanding debt is chased in line with our credit control policy.
Report on outstanding debt, providing regular and meaningful MI to management.
Support and develop the team of Financial Operations Administrators, through ensuring objectives are set, and training needs and development opportunities are met.
Manage and monitor the team workload, ensure BAU tasks are met and distributed fairly.

What you’ll be doing:

Attend management meetings, manage agendas, take minutes, and capture actions.
Provide diary management, room bookings and client meeting support as required.
Ensure written and verbal communications are designed to deliver results.
Manage correspondence on behalf of manager(s) e.g., Emails, post, telephone in a timely manner, prioritising and cascading/escalating as appropriate within own department and without supervision.
Organise business travel and event management for manager(s) e.g. conferences, Roadshows and Third Party hosting.
Manage general administration and expenses with regard to travel, event management and office sundries for the department.
Build effective relationships with Departmental management teams, customers and third parties.
Support Leadership Team events, this could include Booking venues, system help such as MS Office and in-house tech, organising catering.
Flexibility is required to travel to other AXA Office Sites with the possibility of more than 2 days on site.

It’s an exciting time to join AXA Health. We’re looking for Registered Nurses to join our Medical Surgical team on a permanent basis. As a Senior Nurse Case Manager, you’ll provide support and decisions for AXA Health colleagues within the Clinical Centre, Sales and Customer Service on claims and case management queries.

You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home in our Tunbridge Wells office. Typical working hours Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm. No evenings, weekends or Bank Holidays.
What you’ll be doing:

Be a point of reference for interpreting medical policies and medical information for clinical and non-clinical colleagues.
Manage high cost or complex clinical cases, challenging information as required.
Manage day to day organisation of the Medical Surgical Team, including discussing case management with less experienced colleagues.
Support management of the team, ways of working within the team and case management processes.
Provide feedback, coaching and mentoring to colleagues.
Collaborate with the clinical trainer to organise, design and deliver medical training on key subjects for AXA Health colleagues.
Give guidance to less experienced colleagues who receive direct telephone complaints from members or specialists. Be available to manage the call on their behalf, make decisions within your remit or request assistance as needed.
Present to colleagues and external corporate clients to demonstrate the value added by the Medical Surgical team.
Continue with your professional development, maintain NCM registration and IDD requirement.
