There is a vacancy for a Band 5 staff nurse at Lyndon House. Lyndon House provides overnight respite for children with learning disability, complex behaviours and / or complex health needs. We are looking for a RNLD / RMN / RNC to join our team; experience supporting children with learning disabilities in a healthcare setting would be beneficial but not essential and we expect the successful candidate to provide high quality child-centred care. You will be required to work shifts including: long day / night/ early/ late / weekend / bank holiday (we are open 24/7).

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

leading shifts

Job Purpose This is a training role within the NHS England service. The post-holder will work within the NHS Talking Therapies service providing high intensity interventions whilst undertaking a programme of training for this role. This intensive training post will equip the post holder to provide a cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) service to clients with a range of complex problems for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective. Main Duties and Responsibilities 1. CLINICAL 1.1. Accept referrals via agreed protocols within the service 1.2. Assess clients suitability for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and follow the relevant pathways, if not appropriate 1.3. Make decisions on suitability of new referrals, adhering to the services referral protocols, and refer clients on to the relevant service or back to the referral agent as necessary. 1.4. • Assist with the maintenance of stock through participation in stock checks, stock rotation and evaluation of fitness for purpose.
• Assist with environmental monitoring e.g. temperature control, checks and maintenance of storage areas.

A Vacancy at Barnet, Enfield & Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust.


Haringey CAMHS are looking to recruit CWPs to continue to improve children and young people’s mental health services in Haringey. The training forms part of the service transformation initiative delivered by NHS England as part of the Children and Young People’s Psychological Trainings (CYP-PT) programme.

This is a training position post holder will undertake training at Kings College London alongside working in service for Haringey CAMHS. They will be taught to deliver evidence based guided self-help interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. The post holder will use their newly developed skills to support children and young people who are referred into the service and trainees will receive supervision to support their professional development.

Applicants will need to be ready to start work in early/mid-January 2025 and posts cannot be offered to candidates unless they can guarantee this start date.

Shortlisted candidates will also need to submit an application form to KCL for a place on the Diploma in Child Wellbeing Practice. The application form details are attached and will need to be completed at the same time as your application for a post.

The partnership between Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust (BEH) and Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust (C&I) is going from strength to strength since it was originally established in 2021 forming the North London Mental Health Partnership.

In order to meet the needs of the new Partnership services you may be required from time to time to work at different locations to your normal place of work. We are seeking to recruit 2 graduate level practitioners to provide guided self-help therapy and parenting interventions. These posts are salaried at NHS Agenda for Change band 4 and fully funded for a one year post graduate diploma in Child Wellbeing Practice through Kings College London. Further intensive supervision and on the job training will be provided by an experienced supervisor within each team.

During training, the post-holders will work under close supervision to gain experience across healthcare and community settings to enable them to gain the level of competence required to deliver high-quality, evidence-based early interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health problems.
