Job Description:
Are you a qualified Area Site Technician with commercial maintenance
experience? Are you looking for a company to offer up skilling and training?
They are seeking an experienced Area Site Technician who has experience working
within commercial environments carrying out all areas of Fabric Engineer
(Mobile role) and minor remedial tasks. This is mainly a Monday to Friday
role but will require some weekend work and no call outs. This will be focused on various
commercial sites, the role will be covering Cornwall and the surrounding
areas.
Package includes:
- Salary £27k
- Core hours Monday to Friday

Requirements / Qualifications:
Not all Fabric Engineer roles require qualifications but it is always good to check with the client, some clients are happy with candidates who are experienced based. I have included examples below for reference. Depending on the job, they may need a specific trade bias
Qualifications:
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 Carpentry & Joinery
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 Plumbing and Heating
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 Painting & Decorating
Day to Day Duties:
- Plumbing - washers, taps, unblocking toilets, unblocking stacks, installing new sinks, urinals and toilets, pipework (copper or PVC)
- Carpentry - hanging doors, new locks, architrave, window frames, boxing in, assembling furniture
- Tiling - floors, walls and Carpet tiles
- Painting & Decorating
