Program Analyst duties in support of the AFT include but are not limited to:

• Performs technical support operations for the AFT to include service delivery, program assessment, system operations guidance, and long-range planning. Liaisons with Service program managers to inform them of policy updates, changes in deadlines or requirements, and to solve issues in a timely manner.

The selectee will serve as a Personnel Security Specialist in the Office of Security, Personnel Security and Vetting Division. Typical work assignments include:

• Performing security duties as it relates to the Personnel Security Program. Providing technical assistance to applicable stakeholders regarding personnel security (i.e., security questionnaires, accounts, and verification/validation and resolution of personnel security clearance issues).
• Assisting with organizing and prioritizing voluminous amounts of information in a systematic approach by identifying information in an effective and efficient manner. Assisting senior specialists in maintaining accurate class rosters and supporting the Personnel Security Program.

The Associate Deputy Principal Legal Advisor for (ADPLA ) for Enforcement and Litigation (E&L) serves as the first-line supervisor to the Chiefs of the OPLA District Court Litigation Division and Enforcement and Removal Operations Law Division and is the senior advisor to the DPLA for E&L on all matters related to litigation and enforcement of the Nation's immigration and customs laws.

The duties of the position include:

• Conceptualizing, developing, and recommending courses of action to the Director of ICE, who is appointed by the President with the advice and consent of the Senate, including on highly controversial or sensitive issues or previously undecided questions where adverse decisions would negatively affect ICE operations.

• Explaining and defending ICE programs and policies to officials within DHS and other federal agencies, as well as Congress, professional associations, and high-ranking officials in the private sector.

• Leading attorneys and support staff, including direct supervision of attorneys and support staff advising ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations and serving as agency counsel in federal civil litigation before the U.S. District Courts, U.S. Courts of Appeals, and U.S. Supreme Court to which ICE is a party or ICE equities are implicated.

The incumbent provides executive leadership over, and exercises assigned authority for, the planning, direction, timely execution, and evaluation of ATR's Litigation Program. The incumbent also oversees and manages civil and criminal litigation strategies and tactics across the Division's cases.

Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for executive oversight and management of all matters concerning possible violations of antitrust law of major economic significance. Recommends and provides advice regarding investigative plans for civil and criminal matters that should be pursued.
