Key Responsibilities, dependent on role and level within the company:-

• Install/commission our wide range of equipment including; Fire and Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, Audio Visual, and Automation systems
• Provide excellent service to customers, building solid working relationships.
• Prepare for jobs by reading site plans, specifications and ensuring all equipment is available.
• Fault finding and problem solving when attending call outs / break downs.
• Provide on-site technical support and solutions to customers during both reactive and routine visits
• Complete all company paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
• Adhere to health and safety requirements.
• Advise customers on new products and services to improve efficiency.

Salary is competitive/negotiable and dependent on the experience and all attributes an Engineer can bring to the company. Between £30k-40k basic mainly but please apply anyway and we can chat

About the role:
This position involves supporting students and staff at the University's main campus and off-site buildings, ensuring a safe environment throughout.

The role is very customer focused. You will be expected to perform well when dealing with emergencies, medical first aid response, alarm activations and many other reported incidents.

The basic working week is of 38.5 hours which includes 36.5 hours + 2 hours contracted overtime; these hours will be worked on a rotating shift basis cover 24/7 365 days of the year and attracts 15% shift allowance; at times during staff shortages the post holder will be required to work with other Campus teams and cover different shifts.

The appointment will be made subject to a Basic Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) clearance being obtained.

You will get to speak to a wide variety of people each day and a key part of the role is being personable, showing people why spending a little bit of their time to take part is worthwhile.

Some assignments will be very local to you; some assignments will require travel of up to 30 miles, occasionally more.

We will provide you with comprehensive fully-paid training to set you up for success in the role; our dedicated training team will support you in-person during your first day in the field and remain available throughout your time with us.

*To begin with you will be paid by the hour, once you are fully trained and performing well you will be paid by results. You'll likely earn more this way, where you are being paid for every successful interview that you complete, along with other bonuses and incentives.

**New joiner Bonus is paid when an Interviewer is still active 12 weeks after starting in field, actively taking new work and has completed at least one assignment.

About the Role

This is a flexible customer service, market research or sales role so you'll have some control over when you work, although we ask you to commit to at least 16-20 hours per week - across afternoons, evenings and weekends. The nature of research in people's homes means we are more successful in the evenings & weekends. Beyond this flex your time around other commitments like childcare, caring, or other employments.

You will be knocking on people's doors to secure participation and we provide comprehensive training to help you be more successful. We make engaging our Participants easier by writing to them in advance; and when you meet with people, you can also make appointments that works for the Participant and you. You give people the chance to have their say and influence public policy, and sometimes they are offered an incentive to take part in the research.

You'll be assigned to a large area, you could have to travel up to 30 miles to reach certain postcodes, sometimes further. Mileage is always paid. In most cases you'll need access to a car, or another vehicle, if you are applying for a role in London, there's other ways to get around.

Your new company
Working for a successful law firm who have offices based all over Somerset.
We currently have 2 roles available for Legal Assistant/ Secretaries for this organisation. One for the Family department and the other for the Conveyancing department.
Both roles are full-time permanent, paying £23k.
Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. 35 hours per week.

Your new role
Both roles will require the duties below. However, the family secretary role will be based in the Taunton office. However, the conveyancing/ private client secretary will be required to travel to most of their offices during the working week, which are all within local travelling distance-the cost of the travel will either be reimbursed or a company car provided. This info is currently being looked into.
To provide both clerical and administrative support to fee earners, either as part of a team or individually.
The role plays a vital part in the administration and smooth running of the business. Secretaries are involved with the coordination and implementation of office procedures and may be responsible for specific tasks or projects and, in some cases, oversee and supervise junior staff.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be confident in your ability to work well under pressure, conducting matters professionally, whilst providing a friendly, courteous and knowledgeable service.
A driving licence and your own vehicle are essential for this role.
You must have audio typing experience to be successful in either of these roles.
Minimum 2 years experience within a legal role.
