This purposefully designed rotational two-year role is specifically designed to progress into long-term employment within Veolia Commercial. The individual will experience key areas across the commercial sector, developing the basic waste management and business knowledge surrounding Veolia values and processes through different operational depots.



The successful graduate will develop a core understanding of Operations to ensure high-level performance of people, resources, budget, and efficiencies.



They will also develop technical and analytical skills to understand how best to support our business and our customers in achieving their sustainability goals.



What you'll be doing;



- Contribute to environmental and ecological initiatives such as energy efficiency, waste reduction, and water conservation

- Assist in collecting and analysing data for sustainability reports and learn how to generate clear, transparent and accurate reporting of business performance

- Shadow the implementation of people management processes and procedures in line with company policy

- Shadow the implementation and management of operations against Veolia Minimum Requirements

- Help conduct research on trends, best practices, and regulations to support the development of sustainability strategies and action plans and stay informed about emerging sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices

- Helping to deliver efficient and profitable solutions



What we're looking for;



- Degree-level qualification in a relevant Business Management or Environmental (to be achieved by September 2025).

- Practical outlook to problem-solving

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work as part of a team

- Willingness to learn new things and develop

- An enthusiastic, creative and solution-oriented thinker

- Drivers Licence (willingness to get one)

- Willingness to travel if they will be required to travel

As the Category Strategy Manager you'll play a key role within the Merchandise function, you’ll lead the category insights team to leverage industry leading data tools to uncover valuable insights that shine a light on customer preferences and behaviours.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative strategies that not only meet but exceed changing customer expectations.

• Lead the Category Insights team (3 direct reports) at Endeavour, driving strategic planning and improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior leaders in merchandise and marketing to address customer challenges and stay ahead in the evolving Liquor retail landscape.
• Provide strategic recommendations to stakeholders on optimising customer experience and driving innovation within the Liquor category across range, experience, innovation and other category based initiatives.
• Mentor and coordinate the team to deliver impactful analysis that supports industry sustainability and growth.
• Cultivate relationships beyond traditional stakeholder groups to facilitate broader sharing of insights across the business.
• Utilise supplier engagement resources to clearly communicate our Category growth strategies to our supplier network to inform and foster joint planning efforts.
• Provide regular customer insights reporting to add context to the commercial performance of the business and leverage existing senior forums to ensure we are influencing senior management.

The role

Our Business Analyst will support strategic decisions with data analysis, enhance operational efficiency through process improvements, and aid organisational growth by contributing to key projects.

The role reports directly to the Group Finance Director and is part of a team based from our head office in Richmond (TW9 1 EG) - 15-minute walk from Richmond Underground Station (District Line) OR 1 min walk from Eton Street bus stop G.

Please note this role is a Fixed Term position.

Key responsibilities:

• Consolidate weekly P&L forecasts.
• Revenue and Expense Analysis.
• Analyse revenue streams, operating costs, and profitability metrics.
• Financial Modelling, analysing revenue streams, operating costs, and profitability metrics.
• Project Management, including but not limited to process improvement, policies and procedures and best practice.
• Managing weekly urgent payments, verify and approve monthly BACs payments and preparing cashflow forecast as needed.

What you’ll bring to the team

To be considered for this position you must be a Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent). Unqualified candidates with significant relevant experience in the hospitality industry will be considered. Ideally, you’ll have experience or have a keen interest in learning financial modelling including planning, commercial finance, analysis and budget, forecasting experience in a corporate environment. You are proficient in report writing and using PowerPoint, Sage Intacct, Nectari. You have a sound understanding of the Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss and Cash Flow statements.
