Overview of Essential Responsibilities: 1. Promote a shared vision and culture within the Breast Screening Service based on a collaborative approach to the delivery of services that incorporates the requirement of patients, service users and stakeholders. 2. To suggest, develop and implement policies for service development and improvement. Operational Responsibilities 1. Work autonomously and be responsible for the production of the screening round plan; for producing forecast activity, planning, managing and maintaining the Norwich Breast Screening Service round plan. Daily management of the plan and to use corrective measures to adjust round plan when necessary to ensure national 36month recall target is met. To be able to analyse population forecasts to adequately plan. Ensure that national, regional and local screening performance targets are met and that the breast screening programme is delivered in a timely manner. 2. Locate and set up new screening sites when required, sometimes at short notice, liaising to fulfil any requirements imposed by the host. Ensure correct installation of electrical supply point and access for screening van. 3. Responsible for movement of screening vans to correct locations in liaison with transport provider. 4. Demonstrate effective decision making on a daily basis to deal with a variety of routine and non-routine issues and problems. Line Management/Financial Management Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for the line management and the HR management of the administration team, including recruitment process, provision of job description, induction, skill mix/training plans, absence management. Ensure all necessary documentation is completed in a timely manner and ensure entries on Trac and ESR are made. 2. To undertake staff annual appraisals in line with Trust policies, promote and assist with continuing professional development of all administration and clerical staff. To be responsible for ensuring Trust mandatory training is up to date. 3. Ensure all necessary documentation is completed in a timely manner. • You will function as advisor to the Mission Support Director as subject matter expert (SME) for Portfolio Management and IT Governance.
• You will work manage programming process to optimize oversight and analyses in support of MSC N6 Support Plan working with Program and Project managers to prioritize requirements, align initiatives and activities and confirm fiscal planning.
• You will assist Mission Support Director with IT Portfolio Management by collaborating with internal and external higher-level authorities such as other MSC directorates and N-Codes, NAVYCYBERFOR, Fleet Forces Command and USTRANSCOM.
• You will lead LOGWIP, POM and N6 Support Plan initiatives for N6: coordinate, analyze and prepare briefings, issue papers, and fielding plans for final submission to N6 Command IO and higher-level review.
• You will engage and collaborate with MSC’s USTRANSCOM liaison to identify and align project/program resources needs and plans to execute allocated resources in support of BES/MAM initiatives.
• You will perform in the capacity as IT Governance Lead to ensure all requirements within each portfolio have been validated and approved through the governance process.

The Project Management Office (PMO) within the Transformation directorate at NNUH has embedded a rhythm of continuous improvement at the Trust, through inclusive engagement and systematic review of projects with divisional clinical, operational, financial, and strategic management colleagues.

The PMO has an important corporate assurance and reporting function at the Trust, facilitating governance to support the effective delivery of prioritized divisional and cross divisional projects, and the efficient progression of schemes on the assurance pathway, through financial due diligence, patient safety, and clinical quality approval gateways.

The PMO Project Manager plays a crucial role maintaining the Trusts financial sustainability and ultimately, supports the ongoing provision of high quality services for patients. The post holder will have responsibility for engaging and supporting the efficient work up and delivery of divisional and cross divisional projects, ensuring that all projects are underpinned by a robust evidence base through appropriate benchmarking and data capture.

The role will also involve high quality benefits tracking and providing accurate reporting outputs into a range of governance forums. EPC Project Manager - Norwich Substation. Due 20/11/24

• 12-month contract
• Hybrid - Home working 2 days a week and Norwich Substation 3 days a week
• Start date - Early January

We are looking for a Project Manager or small PM team to act as client-side PM on behalf of National Grid in the delivery of the Norwich Substation extension package of projects for a 12-month period (extendable on mutual agreement).

The work at Norwich consists of two projects. A Grid Park connecting 3 new customers via a 33kV / 400kV transformer. Construction is underway and energisation date expected in Q3 2025. The second project involves extending the 400kV substation both East and West to accommodate an additional 8 bays. Construction is also underway, with several conditions required to be discharged as part of the TCPA prior to energisation in Q3 2026.

Job Purpose:

To project manage the Norwich Substation extension to time, cost and specification in accordance with the NG Network Development Process and the in-flight NEC4 works contract.

Role requirements:

• Act as the nominated NEC Project Manager for the Main Works Contract.
• Lead the NG internal governance and project development processes. Prior experience within the NG system would be a distinct advantage here.
• Ensure internal and contractor compliance with Health & Safety, CDM & Environmental legislation as well as adherence National Grid SHES standards, supported by the National Grid Project Supervisors.
• Enact/Support the role of Client's Delegated Representative and where appropriate, Principle Designer or arrange for the provision of Principle Designer for each project as required under CDM Regulations
• Support in the engagement of OFGEM to seek appropriate level of funding. Providing information and composing briefing and regulatory documents to support MSIP and securities processes.
• Provide regular project status reports giving accurate financial forecasting, SHESQ performance, milestone progress & risk management data. Incorporating the contractors monthly reporting.
• Drive customer satisfaction through positive engagement working pro-actively to avoid issues, significant commercial awareness and proactivity is required in this role. Supported by a matrix organisation manage third party issues, land, consents, and local community stakeholder relationships to preserve National Grid's reputation.
• Assess the need and where required scope and manage Front End Engineering Design (FEED) support for emerging scope. Monitor and control their activities to provide an optimal compliant solution in a timely manner.
