Job Duties:

- Unloading lorries and trailers

- Loading vehicles with outbound pallets

- Organising the warehouse and putting all deliveries away

- Collating and building project jobs

- Using the computer system to despatch jobs and raise paperwork

Licence requirements

- Valid FLT Counterbalance licence

Experience:

Prior experience in a warehouse environment preferred and previous forklift experience

Knowledge and Skills:

- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently

- Strong organisational skills

- Basic computer skills for job despatch and paperwork

Preferred Qualifications:

- Additional forklift certifications

Working Conditions:

- Fast-paced warehouse environment

- Physical demands including lifting and carrying heavy items

• Receive and process incoming stock and materials
• Pick and pack orders for despatch
• Perform quality control checks on products
• Must be able to use manual handling equipment such as picking trolleys, footstools and ladders
• Keep a clean and safe working environment
• Assist in inventory management and stock control
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instruction
• Must be able to work to customer deadlines

Previous warehouse or similar experience preferred

• Good communication skills
