What does the Merchandise Manager do?

Under the leadership of the Store Manager, directly leads the Freight team, and all associates of the store while the Manager on Duty. The Merchandise Manager (MM) is responsible for executing merchandising standards throughout the store. The Merchandise Manager is also responsible to “Wow the Customer”, operational controls, inventory integrity, asset protection, cleanliness, safety and driving sales.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be leading the Business Analysis team within CIBC’s Regulatory Reporting Services team. Job Summary:

The Model Development, Production and Analytics (MDPA) department provides models, strategies, tools, analytics and insights to the business in order to boldly grow while wisely managing risks / returns. As a Senior Manager in the Strategy and Business Management team within MDPA, you will provide services to support the successful delivery and execution of its objectives. The team assists in the setting of strategic priorities, drives the standardization of activities horizontally across groups within the model lifecycle and provides compliance, process improvement and project management services along with mechanisms to track and report upon the completion of initiatives. The Financial Crime Risk Manager will be responsible for providing leadership, direction, governance, and oversight for the Money Laundering, Sanctions and Anti-Bribery & Corruptions (AB&C) risk stripes within Citi’s Banking business. The role will have a Global mandate, be part of the first line of defence (1LOD) and focus on the Commercial Banking business. Citi Commercial Banking (CCB) provides global banking capabilities to mid-sized, globally-oriented companies across all stages of their growth.

As the position will not have any direct reports, the incumbent will need to work closely with the In-Business Risk and Control (IBRC) teams within the countries and clusters to deliver their book of work.

Key Responsibilities

o Responsible for managing CCB's global Financial Crime program;

o Drive a consistent and holistic approach to Financial Crime risk management within CCB;

o Provide advisory to the regional, country and cluster CCB teams;

o Closely collaborate with Banking’s central Financial Crime team to ensure alignment with the other Banking businesses (Corporate Bank and Investment Bank);

o Build strong working relationships with the second lines of defence partners within AML, Sanctions and AB&C;

o Lead initiatives and actions to identify, assess and reduce key emerging and existing risk areas;

o Prioritize areas of focus based on level of investment, inherent risk, complexity of change and other risk factors

o Represent the CCB business in senior Governance and Financial Crime forums, as well as by leading key Financial Crime projects/initiatives;

o Serve as CCB lead in global Financial Crime audits, reviews and remediation work;

o Maintain knowledge and understanding of new and changing Financial Crime policy, regulations and requirements and assess the implications for the CCB business;

o Establish processes to identify internal/industry trends, themes and areas requiring improved controls;

o Develop and disseminate communications and training on key risk topics and initiatives both within IBRC and for key front line stakeholders;

o Identify opportunities to work across risk stripes to strengthen and/or simplify existing controls;

o Act as the Financial Crime expert for the business's self-assessment processes, and monitor the outcome of the Managers Control Assessment (MCA) to identify risks and vulnerabilities;

o Uphold a culture of Compliance and awareness in the CCB.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes and qualifications:

o Direct experience of leading a Financial Crime program, framework or team;

Position Overview

Business Architecture Managers reimagine forecasting, planning, and business performance management processes within our Go-to-Market Finance organization to focus on the most important insights, simplify workflows, and take advantage of the latest technologies. They then deliver high-quality data products to enable these reimagined processes, both by building data tools directly and by influencing corporate data engineering teams to build the right infrastructure.

This role focuses on token consumption analytics in support of our enterprise finance organization. Most of Autodesk’s largest and most important customers buy tokens and use them to access our products via a consumption-based model. Understanding how our best customers are using their tokens is essential for growing our business with them and for informing our overall strategy.

This role will also likely support other GTM finance teams and topics. We are a small team working to transform how finance data is used across Autodesk, so flexibility and adaptability are essential. We must coordinate our efforts both within our team and across the teams that support us, take on different projects as business needs change, and constantly manage scope vs. time tradeoffs to ensure we are delivering the most impactful results.

Responsibilities

• Partnering with GTM finance teams to understand their planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance management needs

• Reimagining processes, data structures, and dashboards for simplicity, agility, and adaptability to keep up with GTM innovation

• Owning the delivery of end-to-end data products (pipelines, tables, and dashboards) to enable reporting and analytics that are automated, flexible, scalable, and action-oriented

• This will involve building and testing prototype data products yourself while partnering with corporate data engineering teams to build long-term solutions

• Identifying actionable insights that can target and improve Autodesk’s go-to-market efforts and inform the development of new products and business models

• Integrating your efforts into company-wide forecasting and planning processes and into the broader Business Architecture-led buildout of GTM Finance data

• Adapting state-of-the-art analytical and predictive tools for use in our forecasting and planning processes (once the appropriate data foundations have been built)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in analytical fields such as consulting, strategic finance, BizOps, data science, business intelligence, data engineering, and/or IB/VC/PE

• Experience with SQL and large datasets

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.

• Experience with product management frameworks and process design

• Strong abilities in project management, change management, and cross-functional influence

• A good listener and communicator with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years in client-facing consulting and 2+ years in a technical analytics role

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Javascript

• Experience building and deploying predictive models to forecast key metrics

• Experience designing an optimal decision support process, defining a product strategy to enable it, translating into a roadmap, and enabling it through technology

• Domain experience in FP&A and / or sales, marketing, and customer success operations
