The role
Our Director of Sales is responsible for the development and execution of a pro-active strategic approach to sales in Park Hall Hotel including accommodation, F&B, wedding and events. In doing so creating a high performing sales team that secures and develops new business, while growing existing accounts for the hotels and residential properties in order to drive incremental sales and exceed the expectations of the business.
The role reports directly to the General Manager and is part of a team based from our Park Hall Hotel in Chorley (PR7 5LP). Travel will be required.
Key responsibilities:
- Seeking opportunities to develop the businesses profile and reputation as a leader in the hospitality industry
- Setting the direction through the development and execution of a consistent strategic sales plan for the hotel team that becomes the roadmap to drive sales and exceed target
- Ensuring the defined accounts deliver both retention and growth revenue targets for identified market positioned hotels via direct relationships
- Development of lapsed, and new pipeline accounts across all B2B segments
- Being an effective communication link between the hotel and all key stake holders, agents and other brand partners within Kew Green Hotels
- Driving key relationships with KAD/KAMs to achieve an uplift in RFPs participation through third parties and online platforms

What you’ll bring to the team
To be considered for this role you’ll have a demonstrable track record in Business Development and Account Management with ability to grow market share and account penetration as well as incrementally. You will be proactive and results-driven with ability to develop solution proposals that address customer issues and gain a competitive advantage. Highly motivated and collaborative to identify new business opportunities. Familiar with market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to stay ahead of the curve and drive innovation.
Previous experience in leading and developing sales operations in a hotel events and spa environment is essential for this role.
