This Training Specialist position is located at Memphis International Airport (MEM), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). If selected for this position, you will serve as a liaison concerning training matters between the Federal Security Director and the TSA Headquarters, including the Office of Workforce Performance and Training and the Aviation Programs Office. As a resource to the Federal Security Director's staff, you will assist in planning, directing, scheduling, evaluation and integration of training and professional services to the workforce. This includes coordinating plans, programs, standards, and procedures governing airport-wide training and professional development products and services. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assisting in scheduling, evaluating and facilitating training, screener recertification, and screener performance improvement activities within the airport.
• Assisting in providing advice and guidance to the Federal Security Director's staff pertinent to the training and career development needs and programs.
• Maintaining training database and files; document training activities/accomplishments in web-based learning management system.
• Assisting with keeping current on employees training status, and distributing information about upcoming training opportunities as necessary.
• Assisting in managing instructors; this could include working with TSA Approved Instructors (TAI), supporting the identification of individuals appropriate to provide screener on-the-job training, and coordinating with contractors who conduct training.
• Acting as TAI or Test Administrator.

This Program Specialist position is located at Memphis International Airport (MEM), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Duties include but are not limited to:

• Documenting and maintaining records of completed training.
• Ensuring necessary resources and training materials are available for scheduled sessions.
• Identifying and responding to stakeholders' questions, problems, and concerns regarding security.
• Managing and supporting the collection of various performance metrics to identify inefficiencies and areas in need of process improvement.
• Developing staffing models based upon metrics and data such as future throughput projections, authorized full-time equivalent (FTE), current staff composition, and onboard strength and training requirements.

• Conducting in-depth analyses regarding potential conflicts of airport administrative procedures with overall TSA administrative policies.
• Providing airport management with status reports and planned activities in assigned program areas.

• Tracking and maintaining various financial reports to keep local management fully aware of expenditure types by airport (e.g., baggage screening costs, passenger screening costs, and overall administrative costs) and by month.
• Working closely with the FSD to coordinate, implement, and maintain an effective program to communicate TSA policies, programs, and directives.
• Overseeing and addressing customer service inquiries.
• Generating work rosters that combine full and part-time employees.
• Tracking daily staffing levels and TSO attendance.

Duties include, but may not be limited to the following:

• Pulls stock inventory and material for delivery; replenishes stock inventory; interacts with clinical and administrative customers and maintains records on stock levels;
• Communicates to the Lead or Supervisor any concerns related to supplies, equipment and procedures.
• Provides information to customers regarding medical supplies;
• Monitors expiration dates, rotates stock to limit outdates and removes items from use as required by outdates;
• Monitors and controls critical supplies;
• Performs daily inventory using bar coding equipment on a predetermined schedule that will allow for timely replenishment;
• Resolves differences between records and physical count of stock;
• Distributes items according to established or ad hoc requirements in computerized inventory management systems;
• Delivers supplies in a timely manner and ensures supplies and material delivered are in sterile and operational condition;
• Completes specialty cart preparation;
• Cleans assigned secondary areas in accordance with aseptic principles; and
• Receives supplies and material into the medical center's catchment area.

AS a AIRCRAFT ENGINE MECHANIC, WG-8602-10 (TITLE 32) you will, troubleshoots malfunctioning engines and interrelated propulsion system components, determines degree of disassembly or certification required, repairs or replaces defective components, diagnostic computers and associated hardware. Troubleshoot, modify, repair, and perform sequential disassembly and assembly of gearboxes and auxiliary power units. Perform scheduled and special evaluations on installed engines, auxiliary power units, and associated airframe-mounted systems. Perform command directed and locally established in-progress inspections (IPI) (certifying acceptable performance of all conventional or modified aircraft engines prior to their being installed in the aircraft or placed in inventory) of propulsion system components and associated equipment to determine adequacy of workmanship, materials and maintenance. Requisition, process, and account for supply assets as required by the repairable processing system. Provide technical advice and troubleshooting expertise to other work centers when propulsion systems affect or are affected by interrelated aircraft systems, such as: electro-environmental, pneudraulic, fuel and avionics systems. Provide on-the-job training to lower graded personnel or newly assigned personnel regardless of grade. Examine recurring malfunctions and initiates corrective actions by submission of quality deficiency or software deficiency reports. Serve as the hazardous materials manager as required. Prepare for and participates in various types of readiness evaluations such as Operational Readiness Inspections (ORI), Inspector General (IG) Inspections, Unit Effectiveness Inspections and mobility and command support exercises. Perform other duties as assigned.

As an AIRCRAFT MECHANIC CREW CHIEF, WG-8852-12, you will manage, monitor or perform overall maintenance, servicing, inspections and documentation for one or more highly technical, high performance military aircraft. Request maintenance services exceeding AASF capabilities or time constraints. Oversee ground movement of aircraft. Ensure Unit Level Logistics-Aviation (ULLS-A) and other aircraft documentation accurately reflects status and airworthiness of assigned aircraft. Clear Red X status symbols on aircraft forms for work performed by others. Plan, develop and conduct proficiency training during the technician work week to a multi-faceted workforce comprised of Full Time Support (FTS) and supported unit personnel. Prepare for and participate in various types of readiness evaluations, inspections, mobilization and support exercises. Comply with safety, fire, security, environmental, and housekeeping regulations. Perform other duties as assigned.

As a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AIRCRAFT), GS-1152-09, you will analyze allocated Flying Hour Program (FHP). Analyze supported Aviation units' logistics capabilities and training requirements. Develop maintenance plans to maximize AASF services to maintain aircraft readiness. Develop schedules of aircraft and hours to be flown to satisfy the AASF operational aircraft requirements. Develop integrated workload schedules and priorities to balance operational and training flying requirements and logistics capabilities. Use Unit Level Logistics System-Aviation (ULLS-A) to facilitate management of AASF logistics operations. Serve as contact point between the Logistics Manager/Supervisory Maintenance Test Pilot and work centers. Coordinate Maintenance Test Flights (MTF) and Maintenance Operational Checks (MOC) to ensure optimum availability of ready aircraft. Coordinate and publish maintenance plans and schedules. Collect data, process, and submit Aircraft Inventory Status and Flying Time Report (DA Form 1352) as well as data and information pertaining to Unit Status Reports (USR). This Lead Transportation Security Officer position is located at Nashville International Airport (BNA), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a Lead Transportation Security Officer (LTSO), you will be responsible for leading at least three full-performance level Transportation Security Officers (TSOs) and, as assigned, trainee and apprentice level TSOs. As an LTSO, you will identify, distribute, and balance workloads and tasks among employees in accordance with established workflow and skill level. You will make adjustments to accomplish the workload in accordance with established priorities. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Providing input to supervisors and managers concerning a variety of human resources matters including, but not limited to, employee performance, promotions, reassignments, awards, etc.
• Implementing security screening procedures in accordance with TSA objectives and directives.
• Assisting with investigations of incidents, and preparing incident reports or other documents that convey required information.
• Responding to breaches of security and emergency situations.
