Salary $65,000 – 79,000 ; ’commensurate with skill/experience’
Position: CHEF
Employer: 1770 Beach Hotel – QLD
We require a person who is passionate about flavours, superior plating skills; fast and efficient.
Your role will include:
Managing kitchen operations, menu planning. Food preparation, food handling and quality and waste control.
Administer food safe regulations and ensure kitchen , equipment , and storage(s) are to regulations
Must obtain food supervisor certificate.
- Hands on cleaning and preparations - [ daily and weekly spring cleaning kitchen , colorons and storage's]
Manage inventory and waste
-other duties as directed form time to time
-adhere with all policies ad procedures
Menus must be cost effective and adjusted to suit seasonally changing customers
Collaboration with FOH and management and being team player ‘leading by example/hands on’
Qualifications:
- At least 2years relevant work experience
- Proven ability with A La Carte and autonomy
- Strong leadership and coordinating with FOH to deliver the best food .
Salary $65,000 – 79,000 + superannuation
