Our Systems Integration Platform is a critical enabler for our digital transformation journey. It enables fast, efficient, and secure data and information exchange across essential systems and applications. As a member of our team, you will work in a modern cloud environment and use modern tools and innovative technologies to design, build, operate, and continuously improve important application integrations using various integration patterns, such as - APIs, microservices, orchestration, messaging, etc.

Primary Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy APIs and integrations using Node.js for the business logic and AWS for deployment.
- Leverage standard platform tools and patterns - Kong API Gateway, Mulesoft Anypoint, etc.
- Contribute to building and improving team tools for development, deployment, automation, etc.
- Work in an agile, cross-functional, self-organized delivery squad and be a good team player - have a proactive approach to team collaboration, participate in team meetings, contribute to planning and prioritization, aim for continuous improvement of the ways of working, etc.
- Collaborate with delivery leads, solution architects, and product managers to ensure we provide the right solution to our stakeholders at the right time.
- "Own" the entire lifecycle of APIs and integrations - from requirements through design and implementation towards production deployment and support.
Expected Skills:
- Strong software engineering skills - at least 5 years experience in a software engineering position.
- Good experience in at least one programming language, preferably - Javascript/Node.js.
- Good understanding of various integration patterns - APIs, microservices, orchestration, messaging, etc.
- Good experience with modern software development based on heavy usage of Git, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, etc.
- Experience with API-related standards, tools, and technologies - HTTP, REST, OpenAPI Specification, OAuth 2.0, GraphQL, RPC, etc.
Nice to have skills:
- Good knowledge of API management products (eg, Kong) or API Gateway products a plus
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and command line interfaces (UNIX, Linux).
- Experience with leading integration tools - Mulesoft, Boomi, Tibco BW, SAP BTP, etc.
- General understanding of the pharma industry.
- Experience with IT delivery in large and geo-distributed teams.
