Cravern Resources requires a Systems Analyst / Developer to guide and build its solutions, reporting and analytics services.
The primary purpose of this role is the bridge between domestic and international customer requirements defined by business analysts and Cravern’s foundational architecture as defined by the Principal Architect. The role will be responsible for analysing, testing, and evaluating emerging software applications to be incorporated into the foundational architecture.
The Systems Analyst / Developer will define the technical requirements for solutions, guide the development, testing and maintenance through our offshore Mongolian Development Team based in Mongolia. The role will provide governance, resource coordination, mentoring and development for the Mongolian Development Team. The development and adherence to processes involved in the development, deployment, maintenance, and support of reporting and analytics is critical.
The Systems Analyst / Developer will be at the forefront of our technical initiatives and will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of customer data hosting platforms, data models, and reporting solutions.
What you will be doing:
- The role will provide client solution coordination, quality assurance, testing, support, governance, and resource coordination for the Mongolian Development Team. This will include Daily Scrum Meetings for the Mongolian Development Team for each solution in development.
- Collaborate with internal/client developers, programmers, and designers in conceptualising and developing new software programs and applications.
- Developing application-specific architecture around connection, ingestion, and management of application data.
- Keeping up to date with Power Bl and Azure developments and releases, understanding the different uses. Providing knowledge transfer within Cravern of these emerging capabilities.
- Lead various Australian and Mongolian-based customers through cloud adoption and establish best practices for the extraction, transformation and loading of data to report against. Identify the best fit cloud architecture solutions to meet the needs of the customers successfully.
- Research, identify, analyse, and fulfil the emerging technologies and requirements of all users, including both hardware and software.
- Design, run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
- ShapeGenerate statistics and write reports for management and/or team members on the status of the programming process.
- Develop and maintain user manuals and guidelines in both English and Mongolian.
- Prepare cost benefits and analysis reports for customers in both English and Mongolian
- Provide architectural blueprints and technical leadership to our IT team.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform.
Essential skills:
- Fluent in English and Mongolian (both written and verbal).
- The role requires writing, coding, testing, and analysing software programs
- Understanding of mining operations; mining methods, processing methods, typical data reporting needs
