All rooms are suites with more living and working space, than you would find in any other hotel room, including a fully equipped kitchen in every suite! Our guests (the Maximizers) want to Maximize their stay and we are here to help them do that, by offering grocery services, complimentary daily breakfast and of course all the places to be in Slough, London, Windsor and surroundings!

Job Scope

Housekeeping is what gives hotels the ‘wow’ factor. It’s the moment that guests walk into the hotel and are impressed, then enter their bedrooms and think ‘wow, this looks wonderful’. To deliver a great guest experience – a Room Attendant will clean and service guest rooms so everything is spotless and prepared for guests.

What will I be doing?


Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash/rubbish, etc. May include cleaning of kitchen area, room refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, cups, glasses, silverware, etc.
Wear safety protection equipment as provided in line with department regulations and any local legislative requirements
Handle and store chemicals in line with hotel regulations and any local legislative requirements
Greet and acknowledge guests
Notify Guest Services when service is complete so rooms may be sold or occupied. Report any room unable to be serviced to your line manager according to established procedures
Report all maintenance issues on daily basis
Monitor and control supplies and amenities, and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping
Report, turn in, and/or log all lost and found items according to established procedures
Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service
Assist with deep cleaning projects when required
Perform turndown duties when required
Perform other duties when required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Tasks includes –


Maintain and develop the maintenance reporting procedure to ensure that Hotel defects are reported, recorded and repaired as quickly as possible
Lead a daily schedule for the hotel maintenance team in response to guest feedback, general hotel requirements from The General Manager and department requests in accordance with the preventative maintenance plan



Responsible for all Hotel’s on-site contractor activity ensuring they all comply with H&S.
Assists in managing the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical and life safety systems.
Establish and manage an effective room maintenance program.
Recommend or arrange for additional services such as painting, repair work, renovations, and the replacement of furnishings and equipment.



Develop, implement and manage all health and safety policies, including raising awareness within the Hotels and issuing all permits to work.
Ensure statutory compliance checks are carried out in accordance with current legislation and company policy, in a timely manner and that findings are recorded in the appropriate place and any necessary action taken.
Ensure all equipment are maintained in good working order and all necessary checks are regularly completed.
Carry out training as necessary to ensure all staff work safely, and to the required company standard.
To identify and report hazards and maintenance requirements.
Carry out regular checks on work to help illustrate an improvement in the quality and finish of the Hotels.
Ensure that any subcontractor on-site works to the required standard, completes all the necessary paperwork and completes the job to the specification set out.
Maintain continued improvement in the Environmental performance of Hotels and monitor.
Ensure materials are kept safe, accounted for, and also ensure a base stock of certain items is at hand to make speedy repairs.
To comply with statutory and legal requirements for Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety, Licensing and Employment Law, and water hygiene to ensure that members of the Team are also aware of these requirements.
Maintain stock control and process orders
Be part of the escalation process and be available to attend emergencies when necessary
Develop and maintain relationships with our preferred suppliers to drive quality.
Undertake mains repairs in a timely and efficient manner minimising disruption to guests

About the role

The Operations Manager’s core purpose is to:

Lead, inspire and develop the right employee culture. Our Cycas Spirit is key to the success of this hotel. The hotel team will in turn, reward you by exceeding profit and performance targets by delivering consistently high standards – because they love what they do! You must be an inspirational leader by role modelling and taking a hands-on and can-do approach. Guest Experience:


Establish and implement appropriate service recovery guidelines in order to ensure complete guest satisfaction. Respond to guest’s complaints or concerns in a prompt and professional manner
Review guest feedback and implement strategies for continuous improvement
Communicate to appropriate departments all pertinent information requirements and special needs for arriving VIP’s, large groups and other key guests
Lead marketing efforts to upsell guests on hotel services, offerings and amenities
To ensure that the operation runs smoothly from the guest perspective with the main focus on guest services desk and breakfast/evening reception areas
To develop interactive customer relations and to be aware of any possible future requirements. To relay such information to the line manager for the enhancement of customer expectation.


Responsible Business:


Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, team members and hotel assets in compliance with the hotels or owner’s policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
Maintain relations with outside contacts
Comply with local laws regarding health, safety and alcohol services

About you


Minimum 1-2 year’s hotel management experience within the London market
Keen ability to analyse performance metrics
Know how to manage budgets to achieve optimal returns
Candidates with a strong Front office background are preferred
A good working knowledge of Mews PMS is desired
Previous work experience in a Boutique Style hotel is desired but not essential

Work with the company’s Culture Team to include planning for future staffing needs; recruitment in line with company guidelines; prepare detailed induction programmes for new staff; maintain a comprehensive, current and guest focused set of departmental standards and procedures and oversee their implementation


Guest Experience:


Ensure that all food and beverage facilities and equipment are cleaned, vacuumed and properly stocked according to anticipated business volume. Notify Maintenance Team immediately of any maintenance and repair needs
Establish and achieve quality and guest satisfaction goals. Respond in a courteous and prompt manner to all guest questions, complaints and/or requests to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction
Analyse guest insights to identify and meet customer expectations and build on guest loyalty
Interact with guests to ensure expectations are being met
Appreciate the dynamic nature of the hotel industry and extend these service attributes to all internal customers
Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge about all Cycas hotels & Marriott hotels in your region


Responsible Business:


Manage local food and beverage marketing programmes for the hotel; participate in and maintain system-wide food and beverage marketing programmes and promotions. Monitor local competitors and industry trends
Ensure security and proper storage of food and beverage products, inventory and equipment and replenish supplies in a timely and efficient manner while minimising waste
Perform other duties as assigned. May also serve as a manager on duty


WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING


Restaurant & Bar management experience, preferably in hotel environment, but not essential
3 year’s previous experience of a management/supervisory role in F&B preferable

Job Scope

The Keepers Kitchen & Bar is a new fresh concept from Accor and this opening will only be the fourth of it's kind in the UK. It's a great place to relax, unwind and indulge, morning, noon or night.

Keeper's is open all day offering British, international classics and Keeper’s favourite dishes, featuring our signature house honey.

Under the direction of the Head Chef and the Jnr Sous Chef, prepare and serve a range of breakfast items that meet customers’ expectations. Promotes the desired work culture around our company culture.

Key Job Responsibilities

Assists with the preparation, presentation, decoration and menu dishes including:


Full breakfast offering (buffet and/or plated)
Meat dishes and meat marinades
Fish, shell fish and sauces for fish and shell fish
Garnishing techniques and methods of service for fish
Pastry, cakes and yeast goods
Prepares Regional Dishes appropriate to the hotel menu, location and guest mix
Buffet Food
Communicates to his/her superior any difficulties, guest or internal customer comment and other relevant information
Prepares in advance food, material and equipment needed for the service
Cleans and re-sets his/her working area

We are looking for an energetic Junior Sous Chef to join the team here at Bankside Hotel.

You would be joining Art Yard Bar & Kitchen, part of Bankside Hotel. Art Yard Bar & Kitchen is an informal design focused all-day restaurant serving seasonal and fresh dishes.

This role will be divided as 45 hours over 5 days.

We are looking for a Sous chef who can assist out Executive Head Chef with menu planning, inventory, and managing of supplies as well as supervising the Kitchen and Chefs.
