The Role

A Database Specialist is pivotal in ensuring the efficient, secure, and reliable operation of our product/ customer databases. The scope of their responsibilities is extensive and involves a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining the integrity and performance of database systems.

What you will do

• Develops and maintains Database reference architecture and design documents
• Design, develop, and implement scalable On-premise/ Cloud-based database solutions
• Further establish and ensure Database standards (security, reliability, availability, and scalability) and procedures are met by our product teams
• Identify opportunities for Database infrastructure optimization and cost reduction
• Root cause analysis of production-related database issues
• Maintain development and production environments
• Develop innovative solutions to complex business and technology problems
• Perform physical implementation of databases, storage structures, high-availability solutions such as multi-AZ, replication, and disaster recovery solutions
• Manage, support and maintain both Cloud and On-Premises database environment as well as MS SQL Server databases and infrastructure, adhering to the architectural guidelines and policies
• Provide technical expertise and hands-on support in consolidation and migration of databases to new hardware and platforms

What are we looking for

• Experience performing Database administration or database engineering duties for database internals for SQL Server.
• Experience in supporting MySQL, PostgreSQL will be added advantage
• Experience supporting software engineering teams through the software development lifecycle
• Experience deploying, operating, and monitoring database infrastructure AWS/ Azure cloud environment will be added advantage
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• A deep understanding of the cloud computing model as it relates to enterprise productivity
• Familiarity with AWS/ Azure Cloud products (EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda, Aurora, Dynamo DB, EMR, DMS data migration, Athena, Glue, Kinesis, SQS/SNS, etc.)

What are we looking for

• Experience in business analysis in an Information Technology environment.
• Possesses knowledge of system implementation projects preferably within financial services industry and/or fraud risk management or compliance areas.
• Knowledge on the Fraud, Risk and Compliance regulations in banking sector is a plus
• Ability to analyse and interpret business scenarios and/or data, with the ability to identify business and functional requirements

The role

The Marketing Manager, Asia will be responsible for planning, designing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns to generate leads and drive customer acquisition, retention, engagement, and revenue growth for the fraud solutions across the Asia region.

This role will be instrumental in developing a strategic marketing plan to help raise GBG’s brand profile in Asia and support the organisation’s ongoing commitment to revenue growth.

What you will do

• Lead the development and implementation of marketing campaigns online and offline, including demand generation strategies to generate leads, nurture prospects, manage lead scoring and drive customer acquisition.
• Work closely with the Sales on strategy, sales plans, marketing events, and campaigns to support revenue and new sales targets.
• Drive the development and execution of retention campaigns to maintain existing customer base.

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience in optimising marketing funnels, lead nurturing and conversion rates.
• Proven experience in campaign management, with expertise in both online and offline marketing channels and demand generation marketing.
• Experience with HubSpot (or equivalent) to plan and schedule email marketing campaigns and manage lead nurture workflows.
• Proficient in using Google Analytics.

The Role

As a QA Lead, you will lead the QA practice in developing and implementing testing strategies and plans. You will design, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing based on business requirements. Your role will ensure that the functionality of in-house developed systems is thoroughly tested to meet the high-quality standards expected by the business.

What you will do

As part of an Agile development team:

• Be part of next gen product teams here in Kuala Lumpur, build up product know-how knowledge and automation capability to gate keep quality of features and enhancement delivery are of high quality and meeting product acceptance criteria.
• Actively participate in a team based agile ceremonies and work closely with software engineers, product owners, architects and designers to ensure deliverables are meeting quality and performance target.
• Mentor and train QA team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Create, maintain, deliver and document manual and automated test suites built to validate the specification at multiple layers of application to a high standard.
• Create and review test acceptance criteria for all tasks during sprint planning/ grooming.
• Reduce risk through clear analysis of designs & stories, tailored reporting and clear line management and stakeholder escalation.
• Identify and manage defects within project with a view of preventing customer facing issues.

Technical Skills

• Good understanding of Test Analysis and acceptance criteria process
• Understanding of TDD or BDD framework (Gherkin language)
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium/ Cucumber/ Serenity etc.
• Experience with functional test, and integration test (is a must).
• Experience with setting up the test automation framework, test process would be an advantage.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Team city, AzureDevOps
• Hands-on experience with Non-functional testing such as Performance, Security etc., would be an advantage.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in system analysis in an Information Technology environment
• Familiar with SQL Server Database applications including performance tuning (Database design would be an advantage)
• Familiar with software solution onsite implementation and system integration experience
• Familiar with software solution and network structure design experience and hardware knowledge
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Technologies and solutions including Windows Server and its components (for example, IIS), SQL Server, .NET framework, Web Applications and Services, Windows Applications and Services. Also, knowledge in software development, mainly using Microsoft technologies with open standards such as XML, JSON.
• Good knowledge of Windows operating system, networking, and communication

The role

Works closely with and under the guidance of the Software Engineering Manager, the role will be responsible to deliver product enhancements, improvements as well as addressing issues.

You will involve in analysing and building a technical understanding of GBG Fraud products. A key part of the role will be ensuring our projects are delivered to high standards of innovation, quality, and excellence as well as on time and budget.

What you will do

As part of an Agile development team:

• Be part of next gen product teams here in Kuala Lumpur, build up knowledge and technical capability to deliver features in line with the overall technical and product strategy.
• Deliver product enhancements according to the requirements and take part in new developments.
• Design, Code, Automate, and refactor codes, programs, scripts, and other software services.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and provide solutions to problems with newly developed software.

What we're looking for

Technical Skills

• Sound knowledge and experience with Java.
• Handson experience with RDBMS such as PostgreSQL Database applications (Database design would be an advantage).
• Experience with No SQL Database technology such as Redis (preferred) or Data Analytic Database such as Druid is strong added advantage.
• Good exposure and knowledge of Open-Source Technologies and solutions such as Kafka, Flink or Akka, Spark, Prometheus, Graffana and etc.
• Knowledge of Lambda and real time streaming processing architecture.
• CI/CD, cloud and containers knowledge (Terraform, Kubernetes, Dockers, HelmChart and etc.) would be an advantage.
• Experience with Angular, graph databases such as Janus or Neo4j algorithms and UX/UI design principles would be an advantage.

The Role

As a Project Manager (based in Bangkok, Thailand), you will be responsible for overseeing the successful completion of IT projects, collaborating with internal stakeholders and clients’ stakeholders delivering the project within scope, on-time and within budget

What you will do

• Coordinate internal resources and clients for the effective execution of projects
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
