Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain a basic knowledge of food and drinks menu.
• Ensure that the mise-en place is completed prior to service and continually replenished.
• Provide excellent service on the dining experience to all guests.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the restaurant, to assist in the clean presentation of the restaurant as a whole. All chairs and table arrangements are clean and in order.
• Assist fellow colleagues to prepare and set up in the restaurant for food service.
• Expected to offer suggestions and recommendation, such as wine/ sake pairing.
• Carrying out any other duties as assigned by the manager.

Job Requirements:

• Good communication skills
• Able to work split shift including weekends and public holidays.
• Candidate must possess minimum Secondary level education

Other Information

• Candidate must possess at least Higher secondary/Pre-U/A level/College in Food & Beverage Services Management or equivalent.
• At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Required Skill(s): interpersonal skills, communication skills, self motivation, time management, adaptability
• Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Food/Beverage/Restaurant Service or equivalent.

Sushi Chef

Responsibilities:

• Purchase food and supplies from vendors approved by the company and monitor inventory
• Develop menus and item pricing
• Ensure that the kitchen and surrounding areas are sanitized and clean in accordance with company standards and health code regulations
• Train and supervise kitchen personnel
• Stay current on restaurant industry trends
• Identify new culinary techniques and presentations
• Assist kitchen staff with food prep and recipe creation

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED required (two-year culinary degree preferred)
• 3+ years’ experience in an executive kitchen position
• Demonstrated knowledge of current restaurant industry trends
• Must possess culinary creativity
• Strong knowledge of food sanitation regulations
• Comfortable providing direction and supervision to kitchen staff
• Good experience in fine dining Restaurant
