Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily operations of the site
- Monitor and maintain safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations
- Supervise a team of employees/subcontractors and ensure they are performing their duties effectively and achieving planned goals
- Control site procurement ensuring materials are ordered in good time to prevent delays
- Prepare reports on site activities, performance, and progress
- Deal directly with our project manager ensuring work is planned and progressing as expected
- Work with QS to control day works and variations maintaining records with photographs
- Experience in producing and maintaining project plans/gant charts or similar
- Sign off timesheets and produce weekly report for admin team.
- Monitor and maintain all aspects of site health and safety.
- Attend and report at regular site management meetings.
- Monitor ongoing work quality.
- Record all issues/snags with photographic reports.

Requirements:
- Experience working on high-end new build residential property essential, working with both timber frame and traditional construction methods.
- Experience working in a similar role for a main contractor or a sub-contractor.
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions
- Proficient in using computer software and applications for reporting purposes
-CSCS managers card
- SMSTS Training Certificate
- First aid certificate (not essential but beneficial)
The ideal world candidate would have:
Experience working in a similar role for a main contractor or a sub-contractor.
Experience in using site management software.
IT literate
Experience managing people.
Strong technical background.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12-24 months
Salary: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
