Kimberley Meat Company, a subsidiary of Yeeda Pastoral Company, is a vertically integrated beef supply chain business delivering global meat solutions both domestically and internationally.

We have a vacancy for a Maintenance and Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team based in our facility Derby, a town in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia.

** This position will be based in the Kimberley region (not FIFO) **

Skills Required:
Strong and effective communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong focus on planned preventative maintenance systems.
Proficiency in performing preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems

Experience & Essential Requirements:
At least 3 years’ experience as Refrigeration Mechanic
Trade qualified
Accredited and Experience in use of ammonia and ammonia systems
Demonstrated ability to repair and maintain refrigeration plant & equipment
Proven ability to work well in a diverse team environment with varying background, knowledge and experience
Ability to pass medical testing
Must have a valid WA drivers licence

Responsibilities:
To ensure maximum equipment uptime is achieved by providing effective and efficient mechanical preventative and breakdown maintenance
Ensure that all mechanical & refrigeration work is carried out to meet the Company safety and housekeeping requirements and conforms to all relevant regulations.
Identify faults and troubleshoot and rectify problems within a reasonable time frame
