Job Responsibilities
• Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to maximize their potential and performance
• Identify and secure new business opportunities by targeting corporate clients, event organizers, and private individuals
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve sales targets
• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and potential opportunities
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of customized catering proposals and quotations to clients
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to understand their catering needs and preferences
• Ensure exceptional customer service before, during, and after events to guarantee client satisfaction and repeat business
• Collaborate with the operations and culinary teams to ensure seamless execution of catering events
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress toward targets providing regular reports to senior management
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Head of Catering Sales, preferably in the catering, hospitality, or F&B industry.
• Knowledge of the Singapore catering market and industry trends is a plus.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales ordering software.
• Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
