Joining our Child in Need team you’ll progress plans for children who are subject to Child Protection plans and Child in Need plans and also manage care proceedings cases. The role involves assessing families, managing meetings with professionals, making appropriate referrals and completing direct work with children and families.
Our Child in Need service uses Signs of Safety as a model of intervention to support sound social work practice. Our work is underpinned by the principles of trauma informed practice and the Lundy model of Participation.
Based in Halford House you’ll work a hybrid model with hours typically 9.30-5 Monday -Thursday and 8.30-4.30 on a Friday.
