MQ GRIFFITH is a company that is totally dedicated to servicing the poultry industry in Australia. We are involved in all aspects of transporting live birds from the breeder farms to the processing plant, transporting everything from eggs to grown birds.

MQ GRIFFITH are currently seeking Chicken Catchers to join our team of skilled and hard-working individuals based out of Giraween NSW 

Do you want a real farm experience?  Are you physically fit and want to earn great!

To be successful you must:

Must be physically fit, able to bend to pick up the Chickens
Have own transport to be able to start from our Giraween Depot in NSW
Willing to work, Day or Night Shifts
Must hold WORKING RIGHTS IN AUSTRALIA
Able to follow safety procedures
Poultry industry knowledge an advantage
Desirable: HR or MR Licence, Forklift Licence

Your responsibilities will include:

Manually pick up chickens
Load chickens into modules
Support crew members during the catching process
Ensure draw counts are as per requirements advised by Catching Crew Leader
Follow all safe work procedures
Communication with crew members, supervisors and other relevant site personnel
Compliance with all relevant animal welfare legislation, bio-security and other responsibilities
Completion of required paperwork
What we can offer you:

Full time 38+ hours per week
20 positions starting November 2024
Day and night Shifts across a 7 day roster
Chicken Catching EA pay rate starting at $23.36 per hour with allowances and bonus
Further training in all operations

MQ GRIFFITH are currently seeking Day Old unloading staff to join our team of skilled and hard-working individuals based out of Hanwood NSW

Do you want a real farm experience? Are you physically fit and want to earn great!

To be successful you must:

Must be physically fit, able to use device provided to slide crates from trailer to carry all deck.
Have own transport to be able to start from our Hanwood Depot in NSW
Willing to work, Day or Night Shifts
Must hold WORKING RIGHTS IN AUSTRALIA
Able to follow safety procedures
Poultry industry knowledge an advantage
Desirable: HR or MR Licence, Forklift Licence

Your responsibilities will include:

Unloading crates of day old chickens from trailer onto carry all
De stack crates to required height for unloading
Support crew members during the unloading process
Follow all safe work procedures
Communication with crew members, supervisors and other relevant site personnel
Compliance with all relevant animal welfare legislation, bio-security and other responsibilities
Completion of required paperwork

Full time 38+ hours per week
5 positions starting December 2024
Early morning shift starting time depending on truck arrival and temperatures
Pastoral award $23.46

We are a National Company that is totally dedicated to servicing the poultry industry in Australia. We are involved in all aspects of transporting live birds from the growing farms to the processing plant, moving everything from eggs to fully grown birds.

We have vacancies for experienced Heavy Combination Drivers to join our team based in the Riverina for local work out of our Hanwood Depot.

Job Description
• Prestart check of tall vehicles
• Fault report of any issues with vehicle
• Operate vehicles in line with company procedures
• Put restraints on load
• Check load to ensure fit for transport
• Drive load to the processing plant / farm

To be successful in this role you will have:
Able to operate an articulated heavy vehicle with 3 or more axles safely
Be able to work within the Poultry Industry
Team player with the ability to work unsupervised
Ability to maintain legal times and a logbook is a must
Punctual & customer focused
Monday to Sunday various shifts available
38 hours per week with overtime available
$25.78 per hour plus shift penalties
Immediate start available December 2024
