Key Responsibilities:


Oversee day-to-day operations of the cross-dock facility.
Supervise and lead a team of cross-dock supervisors and operators.
Manage inbound and outbound freight flow efficiently.
Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Monitor inventory levels and manage stock movement.

Implement and enforce quality control measures.

About you:

Previous Cross-Dock knowledge & experience is a must
Demonstrated comprehension of Australian transport regulations and compliance standards.
Proficiency in budgeting and cost management.
Experience in reading, understanding, and interpreting enterprise agreements, and supporting ER/IR matters.
3PL Warehouse Experience
Proficiency in transport management systems and route optimisation tools
Advanced computer skills - knowledge in MS Office/WMS/ERP systems would be ideal
Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
Current Valid LF Forklift License
Current Victorian (or Australian Equivalent) Drivers License
Good communication skills (reading and writing)
Must be available to work 5 days a week

About you:

Previous Transport Manager experience is a must - 5 years experience
Management experience - ideally in a large team environment
3PL Warehouse Experience

They are currently seeking multiple Permanent Full-Time Production Machine Operators to join their ever-growing team. If you have experience as a Machine Operator this may be the role for you. They are currently offering multiple machine production operator positions - these roles will commence on Day Shift (6am - 2pm) and then after 2-3 months of training will transition to Afternoon Shift (2pm - 10pm). Key Responsibilities:

Operate production line, including efficient changeovers on all machinery
Maintain machines and equipment following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Manage product flow and organise production materials in staging
Conduct quality checks in compliance with the quality system
Complete production paperwork accurately and to specified standards
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
Operating the counter-balance forklift for loading & unloading product (if you have a license)
Troubleshoot and configure machines with technical problem-solving skills
Load raw materials (paper & cardboard) from staging areas to the production line
Maintain facilities cleanliness in accordance with GMP standards

Qualifications and Experience

Machine Operating with 12 months experience - packaging environment would be advantageous
Forklift License with 12 months minimum experience - this would be preferred

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions both written and oral
Ability to adhere to timeframes/deadlines
GMP/HACCP experience
Computer Skills on Microsoft skills would be desirable

About the Role:

Managing and directing the warehouse team of 8 to achieve daily operational targets
Ensure the warehouse is maintained to the highest safety standards - as this is a new warehouse they are looking to create and adhere to all standard Warehouse procedures and policies, whilst promoting a safe workplace
Planning container receipts including creating consignment notes, manifests, invoices and purchase orders.
Establishing the new racking system for all allocated product/stock
Operating Counter-Balance Forklifts to help load & unload trucks, containers or vans.
Operating Reach Forklifts to retrieve pallets from racking or stacking pallets onto high-racking.
Oversee the management of logistics/transport operations and systems including international freight requirements to meet customer requirements and expectations.
Run Regular daily toolbox meetings, discussing and delegating all tasks for the day
Managing inventory and condition of all stock
Optimisation of all supply, process and procurement to ensure maximization of company profits.
Manage new and existing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Overseeing dispatch activities and assisting staff with picking of orders.

Qualifications and Experience

Previous Warehouse Manager Experience - 2 years minimum
Victorian (or Australian equivalent) Driver's License
LF Forklift License - extensive experience on both counter-balance & reach forklifts is essential
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Knowledge of Linen, Manchester or similar retail products (preferred but not essential).
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
A commitment to upholding safety and quality standards.
In-depth experience with WMS & ERP systems - this is essential.

Stocktake & Inventory Control
Complete any and all other trained tasks as required
