Job Description
- Coordinate market research projects for Nissan ASEAN.
- Scope will include studies such as ad-hoc studies, brand and ad tracking studies, product clinic, product feedback study, syndicated studies, focus groups and data analysis.
- Using this knowledge as a base, support transformation of Nissan ASEAN Market Intelligence into a strategic visioneering organization which deeply understands the consumer and leverages then translate this insight to action (visioneering) to create world class competitive products and marketing.
- Coordinating researches mentioned above, based on pre-determined business plan and discussion with AGM/GM
- Conducting any situational/ad hoc research necessary to support key business needs
- Communicating proactively with internal constituents including countries, regional and global contacts
- Communicating proactively with external constituents including research firms
- Report writing, analysis, and presentation to internal clients and management
- Be the key MI contact for Vietnam market, developing a precise knowledge of these countries' customers among countries regional and Global counterparts, including native level Vietnam language proficiency
Qualifications
- Must have had at least 2 years experience in independently managing market research project from end to end in market research agency or vendor (starting from developing proposal, designing research method, project management, and analysis)
- Experience in managing multi country market research projects is a plus
- Automotive market research experience is a plus
- Knowledge Vietnam market
- Business/Marketing/Economics graduate is preferred
- Good English and Vietnam language proficiency to communicate verbally & in writing, to write report, to present
- Market research experience in quantitative and/or qualitative studies
Proficiency utilizing (but not conducting) advanced statistical techniques (regression, driver analysis, and modelling)
Willing to follow process based on Nissan global standard
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
Knowledge of cross-tabulation systems is a plus;
Proficiency /knowledge to run Python (or similar software) and or NLP, text analytics is a plus
Experience in using data to tell stories, which the business can use to continuously improve
Driven, business focused, pragmatic and goal oriented personality
