Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy and development, with a focus on high-performance computing technologies, specifically Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA), GPU optimization, PCIe, and CXL. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in defining our technical direction, overseeing the design and development of scalable, high-performance solutions that leverage RDMA, CXL, and GPU advancements to accelerate data-intensive workloads and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Leadership: Define and implement the company’s technology roadmap, emphasizing RDMA, PCIe, and CXL integration to support advanced computing and real-time data processing.
• Innovation and R&D: Lead research and development initiatives to design scalable RDMA, GPU, and CXL solutions, enhancing performance in areas such as AI, machine learning, and big data analytics.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to drive RDMA, PCIe, and GPU initiatives from conception to deployment, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Architecture and Design: Oversee the architecture and design of high-performance computing platforms, ensuring optimal use of RDMA for low-latency, high-throughput data transfer, CXL for data coherency and expansion, and GPU resources for accelerated processing.
• Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
• Technology Evangelism: Represent the company at industry conferences and events, sharing insights on RDMA, PCIe, CXL, and GPU advancements to establish the company as a thought leader.
Requirements:
Technical Expertise:
• Extensive experience with RDMA (Remote Direct Memory Access) technology, PCIe, and CXL in high-performance computing environments.
• Strong background in GPU programming and optimization, with expertise in CUDA, GPU resources, and data-intensive applications.
• Proficiency in C++, CUDA, OpenCL, and other relevant programming languages and frameworks for GPU-based solutions.
• Familiarity with InfiniBand, RoCE (RDMA over Converged Ethernet) protocols, and experience with deploying RDMA in data center or cloud environments.
• Knowledge of networking technologies, with hands-on experience in integrating RDMA and GPU technology within complex networks.
Leadership and Management:
• Proven experience in a senior leadership role, ideally as a CTO or VP of Engineering in a technology-driven organization.
• Strong track record of building and leading technical teams, with a focus on innovation and delivering results.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Educational Background:
• Ph.D. or with more than ten years experienced is required.
• Advanced certifications or training in GPU programming, RDMA protocols, or high-performance computing is advantageous.
Additional Skills:
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of high-performance computing frameworks and libraries such as MPI (Message Passing Interface) and HPC clusters.
• Passion for emerging technologies and a demonstrated interest in advancing the field of high-performance computing.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience working with AI and machine learning models that leverage GPU acceleration.
• Familiarity with cloud-based GPU services and RDMA-enabled cloud solutions.
• Active contributor to open-source projects related to RDMA, CXL, or GPU computing.
