Job Summary:
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
You will define and execute the strategy for sales, customer service, go to market strategy as well as designing the organizational structure based on the direction, business objectives and product offering of 7Cs and related plans and directions of Teledyne Group. You will work closely and act as a sparring partner to Solution and R&D functions to guide product vision, expand sales and to identify opportunities for market and product development. You will stay updated on market trends and opportunities, and how the 7Cs products, solutions and services fit into the overall market, how they match the customer’s needs and are positioned in relation to competition. You will prepare plans, forecasts and sales reports on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. You will prepare the annual budget for your area of responsibility and operate within the expense plan metrics. You are responsible for order intake and have a close coordination with the Supply Chain, Customer Support and Quality functions to optimise order intake, turnover, profit margin and required working capital as well as ensuring customer satisfaction though on time delivery and ensuring quality of the delivered products, solutions and services. You will maintain an updated market strategy for 7Cs aligned with Teledyne Group and based on clear customer segmentation, product offering and matching processes per customer segment. You will be responsible for outlining requirements for advertising, white papers, trade shows, seminars, events collateral, and website content. You will be responsible for people management of the employees in 7Cs Sales and Marketing departments which includes delegation of work, setting priorities and deadlines, making recommendations for assigned personnel regarding training, performance ratings, changes to compensation, promotions, transfers, terminations, and staffing - including the assignment of sales quotas and related incentive structure.

Professional Profile
- Strong and solid background in international sales management,
- Experience from high-value capital equipment sales business to business is a must,
- Knowledge of solutions selling and value-added selling,
- Fluency in English in written and verbal communications is a must,
- Knowledge of other languages is an advantage but not a must
- Experience from the marine and/or offshore industry is an advantage,
- Experience within the high-tech industries is an advantage,
- Strong team player and excellent networker
- Understanding, knowledge and respect for ethical, social and legal aspects operating locally and globally being part of a public company governed by high standards (ISO9001, SOX, etc.)
Other relevant requirements
- It is expected that you perform extensive and frequent travelling of around 150-200 days per year:
- to work in our key markets, in regions such as APAC (China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, etc.), Americas (USA, Latin America and Canada), EMEA (UK, Benelux, France, Middle East, etc.),
- to actively participate at key exhibitions and conferences and
- to work with colleagues at Teledyne Corporate and Teledyne Marine sister companies.
- It is a requirement to be able to obtain a NATO security clearance at the level of “Confidential”.
- It is a requirement to have a driver’s license and being able to drive a normal car.
