Recruitment Professionals, a recognized leader in executive search and recruitment, is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a prestigious firm for an experienced Domestic Conveyancer to join their Southwest London team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of residential conveyancing, demonstrate strong technical skills, and have a keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
• Meet with clients to assess service requirements, explain the firm’s fee structure, and outline legal and administrative processes.
• Take comprehensive instructions from clients and provide expert statutory interpretation and legal advice based on relevant legislation, codes of practice, and policy.
• Maintain prompt communication with clients, solicitors, and other relevant parties to ensure cases progress smoothly.
• Conduct thorough due diligence, including property searches, title checks, and contract reviews.
• Prepare and draft essential legal documents and correspondence.
• Ensure client files are managed in accordance with all internal and professional conduct rules and obligations.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to paralegals, contributing to the overall growth of the team.
• Market for new business opportunities.
Qualification and Experience:
• Qualified Solicitor with a valid Practising Certificate in England and Wales.
• Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in residential conveyancing.
• Proven ability to manage a busy and varied caseload independently.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using conveyancing software and legal technology.
Work Arrangement:
• Full-time role with a hybrid working pattern: 3 days office-based (Southwest London) and 2 days remote.
• Working hours: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM.
Salary:
• £37,000 - £40,000
