ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Includes the following, other duties may be assigned.

• Following established procedures, use various hand tools such as files, burring knifes, and brushes to remove burrs, excess metal, surface imperfections, and any other noted imperfections.                 
• Read machining instructions or routing sheets and follow oral instructions to set up burring machines.  Operating sequence and necessary tools are provided.                     
• Operate burring lathe, sand blaster, parts washer, wire brush, burring machines and rounder as assigned; make standard adjustments as needed.                      
• Engrave and stamp part numbers on gears, shafts and related parts.                     
• Use micrometers and various precision measuring equipment to set up and check work. Examine and feel surface of work piece for defects.                     
• Notify a supervisor or lead Person of any deviations in product quality from prior operations.                     
• Process all necessary documentation and paperwork for parts completed. 
• Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures.  Comply with all quality and safety regulations.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Requires one to three years of trades training or equivalent experience and up to three months related machining experience.  Requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and percent. Requires the ability to operate various equipment to include hand tools, burring lathes, sand blast, parts washer, burring machines, rounder, files, wire brush and various precision measuring equipment to set up machines. Requires basic knowledge of company products, machine shop procedures and general machining practices.  Requires ability to operate a forklift truck and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Provides hiring, promotion and disciplinary action recommendations, as well as performance evaluation and feedback for direct reports. • Reviews associate's performance, makes recommendations and works with local HR on recommending disciplinary actions.

Within these segments there are various division that support the commodity supported by the plants within the division. This role will support the Morehead, Kentucky facility within the Industrial Components division. Morehead provides mounted and unmounted bearings for the SealMaster and Browning brands. One of the top revenue sites for the division, the Morehead plant drives 15% of the division’s revenue.

• Partner with EHS leader to maintain a safe work environment that is compliant with all regulations and drive focus on leading environmental health and safety (EHS) metrics and continuous improvement initiatives that promote safety.
• With the leadership team, partner to understand the current site business objectives and financial targets, develop a vision for the site's future operational/growth needs and implement a plan to achieve those outcomes.
• Manage a robust Regal Business System review process for selecting, scoping, and prioritizing improvement initiatives (i.e. Policy Deployment, CI Roadmap, Kaizens, Projects and CI Talent) to achieve goals. 
• Lead and implement  process improvement across the value stream to drive SQDCG measures utilizing lean concepts. Key Concepts:  Lean Conversion (5S, flow, standard work, tools/materials at point of use & visual management), visual factory, single (best)  piece flow,  replenishment systems, transactional process improvement techniques, defect reduction and effective daily management.
• Ability to work as a member of the leadership team to develop and communicate a future vision for the business. Garner followership across the organization to progress the transformation to achieve the future state.
• Analyze and assess business metrics (SQDCG and financials) and processes across the business to develop impactful improvement strategies.
• Govern and support Quality Management system through standard work management. Support alignment of the QMS to changes introduced through Continuous improvement efforts.
• Provide subject matter expertise across the organization by partnering with functional, business and site leaders to assess current processes and identify process/performance gaps and improvement opportunities. 
• Oversee ISO 9001 certification compliance and internal audit structure.

The Warehouse Associate III's primary responsibility is supporting the DC Supervisor(s) by overseeing and participating in the shipping, receiving, picking, packing, moving, and storing of Warehouse inventory. This individual may be responsible for subject matter expertise in select areas of the warehouse, such as record retention, selected reports, or serve an area lead. This position works closely with the department on activities relating to, but not limited to open orders, material handling, cycle counting, repacking, housekeeping, and training new employees. To ensure your success you need the ability to follow instructions and operate a forklift or other material handling equipment. You must have the ability to problem-solving skills, comply with all relevant safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Major Responsibilities:

• Supports in removal obstacles and addresses or escalates issues. This includes:
  • Scheduling for picking
  • Scheduling for packing
  • Ordering supplies
  • Support of material receipt
  • Solve and Support Shipping/Receiving documentation Issues
• Works with supervisors and management team to ensure that goals and deadlines are met in a timely manner.
• Provides departmental or area training to warehouse associates.
• Receives inventory or material, processes the given information and returns merchandise to stock or plant.
• Processes continuous dock flow including container, cross dock, LTL shipments, returns and stocking.
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed &enter data in oracle system
• Communicates shipments and inventory levels to the Supervisor
• Responsible for conducting cycle count by location and/or model as directed
• Supports documentation management and coordination in area of expertise.
• Review Physical pallets and load trailers. Moves material from receiving stage to trailers.
• Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
• Performs cycle counts, and provides inventory validation and verification of data as directed by Inventory Supervisor.
• Reads customer delivery pick order, determines items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, bins according to predetermined sequence (i.e., Size, type, style, color, or product code).
• Drives forklift (reach truck, Order Picker, Turret Truck, Sit Down) to Pick/Pack and transport items.
• Uses a computer/ RF scanner to enter records and record data.
• Loads and unloads vehicles.
• Backfill other team members as needed

Required Education / Experience / Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2 year experience driver Forklift
• Minimum 3 year work experience in a production or warehouse environment
• Certified forklift driver (stand up/sit down) or willing to learn, as needed
• Strong MS Office skills & computer skills
• Experience on Oracle or Other MRP System
• Experience in Receiving is a plus. Verification of Raw Materials as per Packing list from Vendor

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

This position is done in a Warehouse environment typically indoors but may require access to outdoors for work at times.  This position requires the ability to drive a forklift: Reach Truck, Order Picker and/or Turret Truck.  This position requires the ability to work at heights of 25 feet or more secured by a harness.  The position requires a person to be able to frequently walk, stand, bend and twist; see, hear, and talk; use fingers and hands, handle or feel controls or product; use hands and arms to reach, hold and carry product.  Frequently lifting/moving up to 35 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs. is required.  This position also requires a person to handle different temperatures as the Warehouse is hot in the summer and cooler in the winter.

Position Summary:

We create easy, self-serve, digital experiences in an environment that involves multi-persona buyer journeys, complex account and user hierarchies, intricate product relationships, and customer specific pricing. Mix in some international markets, language translation and localization, a variety of ERPs, and multiple business units, and you have a fun playground in which to solve problems. 

We have built sophisticated systems to handle these scenarios, and now we are looking to grow our diverse and global team by bringing on board additional creative, motivated, and analytical people to join the talented team we already have. 

We’re an agile shop, so you will collaborate with our product owners to create great user stories, provide customer-centric insights on the why behind features, and articulate acceptance criteria at the right level to allow the team to design the best solutions. You will work with the technical teams to fully explore the business logic and technology, while documenting solutions with air-tight diagrams, inspired wireframes, and clear descriptions. You will work with our QA, infrastructure, and digital marketing teams to ensure that what we make is high quality, scalable, and frictionless for customers. 

You will coordinate with other business analysts to blend the needs of multiple business units into elegant solutions. You will use planning poker to create story point estimates, forecast delivery dates and drive achievement planning to innovate your way past obstacles. You will work as a strategic partner to our businesses to help groom backlogs so we can maximize business value in ways that delight customers. 

Our technology core is built on Sitecore, Coveo, SOLR, Informatica, Microsoft technologies, Oracle/SAP ERP, Salesforce and a variety of other tools in our marketing technology stack. We have some unique customizations that allow our technology to scale to hundreds of thousands of SKUs, over a billion pricing records, high availability, and heavy traffic.

Major Responsibilities: 

• Lead the documentation of system requirements for select features of our digital properties and ensure timely implementation by working with business, Product Owners, design, developer, QA and DevOps teams using agile methods and design documents, including:
• Initiatives, MVPs, epics and user stories authoring with partnership from PO
• User story mapping, use cases, and wireframing 
• System and solution diagrams 
• Workflow diagrams 
• Domain and data models 
• Lead estimation sessions and manage scope changes to ensure that budgets and deadlines are met 
• Inspire and negotiate solution updates to solve design and delivery problems discovered during development 
• Proactively and clearly communicate changes in delivery dates and manage stakeholder expectations 
• Facilitate agile sprints by clarifying requirements and unblocking design issues for the team 
• Facilitate prioritization of the backlog among multiple stakeholders 
• Identify and recommend improvements to digital properties based on analysis of customer feedback, usability data, and discussions with various functional team members (marketing, sales, customer support, etc.) 
• Coordinate alignment across multiple business teams when required for shared web functionality or customer experiences 
• Stay current on marketing technologies and make recommendations for ROI-positive enhancements 

Required Education / Experience / Skills:  

• Bachelor’s degree in business or technology field or equivalent experience in technology consulting 
• 3 to 5 years of experience converting digital functionality requests into functional requirements and/or user stories as part of a formal requirements gathering process that supports full requirements traceability 
• Experience with agile development methodologies and story point estimation (DAD or SAFe experience a plus) 
• Meeting facilitation skills and ability to collaborate effectively with participants from all levels of the organization 
• Superior communication skills (verbal and written) 
• Experience using analytics software to evaluate and analyze user behaviors 
• Business to business or complex product experience preferred 
• Project management experience preferred 
• Experience with formal product roadmap prioritization methods a plus 
• International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) CBAP a plus 
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM)certification a plus 
• Experience or certification in Design Thinking methods a plus
