Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing

· Develop and execute strategies to position and enhance SCDT’s branding.

· Create comprehensive marketing plans, including advertising, promotions, and strategic initiatives to boost awareness, audience engagement, and student enrolment for SCDT’s programmes.

· Drive marketing efforts for membership, sponsorship, partnerships, and fundraising activities.

2. Programmes & Engagement

· Support the smooth planning and implementation of SCDT’s programmes;

· Implement targeted marketing strategies to build awareness of SCDT’s offerings;

· Engage donors, members, and patrons through programme-related activities;

· Work towards achieving key performance indicators (KPIs); and

· Foster strong relationships with all stakeholders.

3. Communication

· Develop press releases and liaise with media for effective coverage;

· Communicate with stakeholders through media channels to boost awareness of SCDT and its initiatives;

· Manage SCDT’s website and digital presence; and

· Assist in collection and respond to feedback and inquiries for continuous improvement.

4. Operations

· Provide support to SCDT’s daily operations when required.

Other Duties / Tasks

· Prepare and submit marketing workplan/budget for each fiscal year;

· Manage marketing and engagement initiatives within budget and effectiveness;

· Handle administrative tasks with follow-up as needed;

· Oversee the production of marketing materials such as newsletters, brochures, posters, and banners; and

· Any other tasks assigned by SCDT.

Qualifications:

· Diploma in Marketing / Business / Communication

· At least 2 years’ experience in marketing. Some experience in events management is a plus.

· Proficiency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) due to operation needs.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Customer-focused, service-oriented, and able to work independently

· Able to use graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), videography and Photography

Job Description

• Working Hours: 5 days (including Weekends). Actual working hours may be subject to changes due to operational needs, including working at night and on Public holidays.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform frontline customer service roles such as but not limited to handling customers’ queries;
• Assist in administrative duties such as but not limited to course enrolment, preparing class attendance and managing student database;
• Assist in accounting duties, such as but not limited to invoicing, handling daily sales, and refunds;
• Ensure proper documentation and filing;
• Assist in office daily operational matters. Keep track of office inventory and purchasing to ensure sufficient stock for operation.
• Assist in the planning and execution of the Company’s events; and
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by Management and Directors.

Qualification:

1. Possess strong dance technique and performing experience, preferably trained in Chinese dance, other dance genres are welcome too;

2. Hold a professional dance diploma/degree under a recognised arts tertiary institution;

3. Able to work on weekends and may be subject to irregular work scheduling;

4. Good image and body proportions;

5. Good communication skills and eloquent in language;

6. Good character, including career professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility.

Duties:

1. Attend company classes and rehearsals, including those held in other venues, which the Company may require for the full discharge of your duties;

2. Acquire and maintain high levels of technical proficiency, physical ability and fitness;

3. Perform and participate in all projects and/or productions, local or overseas, as directed by the Artistic Director;

4. Conduct dance class and choreograph for the Company, if required by the Artistic Director;

5. Undergo training in dance, teaching and choreography; and

6. Be involved in all company events, including Outreach and Education programmes;

(Working hours may be longer during performance season; and/or you may be required to work on Sundays and Public Holidays due to company events/operational needs)

Duties:

1. Plan and execute Outreach and Education programmes;

2. Design lesson plan, prepare and perform teaching duties according to Company requirements;

3. Choreograph dance items and prepare students for performances and competitions;

4. Attend regular meetings and training to improve teaching skills and maintain technical proficiency;

5. Give accurate feedback on students’ progress to schools and parents;

6. Be on standby to stand in for assigned staff if they are unable to perform their duty; and

7. Perform other Outreach and Education related duties, such as performing and publicity.

For full-time staff, working hours may exceed 44 hours/week during peak periods, and/or you may be required to work on Sundays and Public Holidays due to company events/operational needs.

Qualification:

1. Hold a professional dance diploma/degree under a recognised arts tertiary institution;

2. At least two (2) years of teaching experience in Chinese dance;

3. Conduct teaching in Mandarin and English when necessary;

4. Able to work on weekends and may be subject to irregular work scheduling;

5. Good character, including career professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility;

6. Good communication skills and eloquence in language.
