Stirling Educational Psychology Service (EPS) seeks to appoint a motivated and passionate Educational Psychologists. You will be a highly skilled and values led professional who is passionate about psychology and improving outcomes for all children and young people through equity and excellence. As an Educational Psychologist in Stirling you will be joining a service that offers induction and support for new members of staff.
There is a strong focus on staff wellbeing and professional development. We ensure that all staff have opportunities to engage in and lead development work, as well as having their own allocation of educational establishments to link with.
The Service is located in Stirling, which is a beautiful city in Scotland's central belt, with excellent commuter links. The service is integral to the Schools, Learning and Education Service, providing valuable opportunities for all staff to use their psychological skills and knowledge in contributing to and leading on, local and national priorities with a range of partners and stakeholders.
Stirling EPS currently has a focus on:

• Emotional wellbeing and mental health
• Nurturing and trauma informed approaches
• Inclusive practices to support attendance, engagement and improving outcomes.
We operate a blended approach to work which can incorporate office, school and home based working. Applications are invited from qualified Educational Psychologists, and those who are in the process of completing their QEP. Registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) is required.
We are advertising a 0.9 FTE post on a permanent basis, and a 1.0 FTE post on a fixed term basis until Summer 2025. Further information about the post is available in the job description.
