The on-target earning potential for this role is a £24,024.40 - £25189.20 annual salary, comprising a base salary of £22630.40 - £23795.20 supplemented by an estimated £1394 in gratuities per annum, ensuring a rewarding compensation package.

About the role

Set within the busy Golf shop, you will deal with all customer enquiries in a friendly and professional manner, drive revenue and take opportunities to recommend relevant products whilst providing excellent guest service.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

- Assisting with the daily operation of the shop floor

- Ensuring excellent service, meeting and greeting customers

- Maximising revenue, advising customers and sharing your knowlegde

RECEPTION & GUEST SERVICES

The Reception and Guest Services team ensures exceptional service for every guest, welcoming over 300 daily check-ins and outs. With outstanding customer service, they exceed expectations by assisting with procedures, providing information, and addressing concerns. Their dedication creates a warm atmosphere, leaving guests with a positive impression of their stay at The Belfry Hotel & Resort.

About the role

This role is 40 hours per week and you will be working 5 days out of 7.

As Reception Supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running and high performance of our fantastic reception team.

Your duties will include:

• Supervising, training and mentoring shift leaders and receptionists to ensure exceptional guest journey at all times
• Producing rotas according to business levels
• Following up queries where necessary on behalf of receptionists and shift leaders
• Performance management of the front office team, including job appraisals, observations, and identifying training requirements
• Providing excellent service to each and every guest

The Food and Beverage Department at the Belfry has four main outlets. The Ryder Grill Restaurant boasts 2 AA rosettes and offers a unique dining experience with its live theatre kitchen, serving up to 700 meals daily. Sam's Clubhouse caters to sports enthusiasts with a variety of dishes, accommodating up to 250 guests and serving 500 covers per day, including an outdoor patio during summer. Rocca's restaurant provides a family-friendly atmosphere with Afternoon Teas and Mediterranean cuisine. The Brabazon Bar is a versatile meeting place offering light dishes, Afternoon Tea, and cocktails crafted by skilled mixologists throughout the day.

The Meeting & Events department boasts 24 stylish event spaces capable of hosting gatherings of all sizes, from board meetings to large weddings and corporate events. With over 120 team members, we serve up to 800 guests simultaneously. About the role

A Chef de Partie within the Ryder Grill kitchen your day will be focused on the À la Carte menu, you will have five and a half hours preparation time Monday to Saturday working from specification sheets to get all food items ready to serve.

Set up and preparation of menus items for your section ready for food service, numbers based on hotel occupancy for the resort and you will prepare food in advance for the coming week you may also be expected to take ownership for the kitchen in the absence of the kitchen management team.

You will also be responsible for:

• Cooking and delivering beautifully crafted food using the best ingredients sourced from local suppliers
• Understanding the importance of allergens and dietary safety within your kitchen
• All temperature logging for hot items and refrigerators to ensure full compliance
• Running a section of the kitchen throughout a busy service and providing support to your team mates to ensure a fast and accurate delivery.
• Clearing and cleaning of your section and other areas of the kitchen to ensure we remain compliant

About you

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ of experience in a fine dining kitchen and possess excellent communication and presentation skills.

In addition, you will be:

· Passionate about food and working with seasonal ingredients

· Standards-driven, with a fantastic eye for detail

· Experienced in taking ownership over your section and working towards guidelines of portion control including weights and measurements and logging all wastage for more accurate GP %

· Able to develop strong relationships with your team, and colleagues

Marketing

The marketing team at The Belfry supports all areas of the Resort, creating a fast-paced and collaborative team and work environment. Winners of Marketing Team of the Year 2021 and nominated for The Cateys in 2023, they are passionate about representing the Belfry brand to all audiences.

About the Role

As part of the Marketing Team, the Content Marketing Executive will generate and deliver engaging content for our social and digital channels, with the objectives of brand awareness, audience engagement and driving sales.

Working closely with the wider team, the Content Marketing Executive will use their creative skills to find new ways to communicate the Belfry story to new and existing guests who choose to spend their time with us.

You will be responsible for:

• Developing social media strategies with the aim of increasing brand awareness, engagement and sales

• Responsible for managing, creating and scheduling all content on social media channels including Insta, Facebook, TikTok, X, LinkedIn
• Manage the content calendar to ensure a regular presence across all channels is tied in with wider activity including email marketing, website updates and digital campaigns
• Manage The Belfry’s photography and videography requirements to ensure the visual identity of the brand represents the Resort’s aspirations across social, website and emails
• Liaising with other departments to create an engaging social media calendar that touches all areas of the Resort
• Collaborating with design team when necessary to provide attractive and engaging campaigns

• Monitoring, tracking and reporting on all relevant channels

About You

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years’ experience of planning and creating digital content for a range of audiences. Previous experience in a similar role is a must. Hotel, Resort & Hospitality industry preferred.

The Events Sales Team

About you

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a mid to large hotel sales team and possess excellent verbal & written communication skills.

As an Events Planner you will be working alongside the Sales Executive to ensure a seamless handover of the event at the contacts stage. Other responsibilities are as follows:

· General call handling to discuss event details including using questioning techniques and handling objections

About the role

This role will be 45 hours per week working from approximately 3.30 pm – 11.30 pm 5 days out of 7 including weekends.

As Ryder Grill Supervisor, you will work alongside the Head of Department to lead and organise your team to deliver excellent operational standards and maximise revenue in the department. You will be involved in the business planning, budgeting, and accurate forecasting, whilst coaching and developing a high-performing and engaged team.

You will also be responsible for:

· Coaching, developing, and acting as a role model to your junior management team

· Reviewing weekly business to address successes and opportunities for improvement with revenue, guest measures, and payroll

Resort Desk

Our Resort Desk is often the first step in The Belfry experience. Set within the busy reservations office, this role is a great opportunity to introduce our guests to all we have to offer, and ensure their visit is smooth through excellent communication with all departments.

Salary

The on-target earning potential for this role is £23524 - £24689 annual salary, compromising of a base hourly rate of £22630 - £23795 plus a qualified estimate of £894 gratuities per annum.

About the role

This role is a 40 hours per week contract, working 5 days out of 7. The reservations office is open from 9-7pm, so shift times can be varied.

You will also be responsible for:

• To sell, manage, and upsell The Belfry’s facilities to their full potential, maximising all revenue opportunities to grow resort revenue, achieving targets and building client relationships.
• To be instrumental in the smooth and professional running of resort services through excellent inter-departmental communications
• To ensure that whichever method a client chooses to communicate with The Belfry that the booking and queries are dealt with promptly and thoroughly

About you

The ideal candidate will have had experience with guest-facing or telephone roles and experience working in a spa Reception or spa Reservations department

About the role

The IT Technician is a brand new role reporting into the IT Manager and will be based on site and will provide 1st and 2nd level IT support for staff and liaise with our 3rd party IT service providers. The role will assist in bringing more IT support in house, handle 1st and 2nd line issues and support with delivering IT projects.

The duties of our IT Technician include:

· Provide onsite IT support for staff.

· Build, roll out, and replace PCs and hardware/software.

· Set up and manage mobile devices and tablets.

· Liaise with 3rd party IT service providers to ensure smooth business operations.

· Maintain on-premise and cloud-based Active Directory.

· Manage user accounts including new user creation, and processing leavers and movers.

· Maintain an updated asset inventory, including PCs, phones, PDQs, and printers.

· Continuously improve IT documentation and policies.

· Assist Operations with daily IT issues as needed.

· Supporting and implementing new IT projects.

About you

· 2 years+ experience of 1st, 2nd line IT support.

Salary

The on-target earning potential for this role is a £32523.00 annual salary, comprising a base salary of £30526.00 supplemented by an estimated £1997 in gratuities per annum, ensuring a rewarding compensation package.

KITCHEN’S

At The Belfry, our flagship restaurant, the Ryder Grill, holds 2 AA rosettes and serves 700 meals daily with a buffet for hotel guests and conference delegates. Skilled chefs use fresh ingredients to create innovative dishes. We also offer four other unique food outlets: Sam's Clubhouse for classic pub-style dining, Rocca's for Italian cuisine, The Brabazon Bar for handcrafted Afternoon Teas, and the Pastry Kitchen for desserts. Our Banqueting team caters to various events, ensuring seamless experiences. About the role

As a Chef de Partie within the banqueting kitchen your day will be focused on the preparation of menus items for conferences and events, numbers based on hotel occupancy for the resort and you will prepare food in advance for the coming week you may also be expected to take ownership for the kitchen in the absence of the kitchen management team.

You will also be responsible for:

• Cooking and delivering beautifully crafted food using the best ingredients sourced from local suppliers
• Understanding the importance of allergens and dietary safety within your kitchen
• All temperature logging for hot items and refrigerators to ensure full compliance
• Running a section of the kitchen throughout a busy service and providing support to your team mates to ensure a fast and accurate delivery.
• Clearing and cleaning of your section and other areas of the kitchen to ensure we remain compliant

About you

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ of experience in a fine dining kitchen and possess excellent communication and presentation skills.

In addition, you will be:

· Passionate about food and working with seasonal ingredients

· Standards-driven, with a fantastic eye for detail

· Experienced in taking ownership over your section and working towards guidelines of portion control including weights and measurements and logging all wastage for more accurate GP %

· Able to develop strong relationships with your team, and colleagues

· Proficient in understanding of COSHH and HACCP on food storage.

HOUSEKEEPING

The Housekeeping team ensures every guest has an exceptional experience by maintaining impeccable cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms and public areas. • Maintaining quality standards of linen
• Ensuring all used linen has been collected
• Ensuring all departments have the requested linen on a daily basis.
• To check that the corridors and service rooms are clean and tidy,

G3 Events

Our day-to-day events revolve around corporate conferences, team-building activities, evening entertainment, and prestigious awards ceremonies. £40,000.00 - £50,000.00 per annum.

About the role

This role is 40 hours per week and mainly office-based, but flexibility is needed.

The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for quoting and overseeing all technical aspects of any event at the Hotel. You will manage all technicians and ensure that all staff are adequately briefed and prepared for forthcoming events in a timely manner. You will support clients in all technical areas of an event. This will involve extensive pre-production work prior to event sign-off to include technical quotations, scale plans, set design, set visuals, H&S requirements and rigging sign off.

You will also be responsible for:

• Regular client meeting & site visits
• Interpreting and developing the brief with the client
• Producing quotes and agreeing budgets
• Managing project timelines and schedules
• Ensuring project documentation is updated, including risk assessments and method statements
• Managing suppliers and other 3rd parties
• Overseeing delivery of the event, working with other departments to ensure post-production activities are completed

About you

The ideal candidate will have experience as a project manager in corporate AV and be passionate about working in the audio visual field and delivering exceptional service to clients.

You will also require the following Skills:

· Quick thinking and problem-solving abilities to handle unexpected situations.

· Excellent client-facing and communication skills to provide exceptional service.

· Have the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

· A can-do attitude, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.

· Possession of a full, valid UK driving license with no more than 3 points plus eligibility to drive long-wheelbase vans.

· As events often present changing demands and priorities, your flexibility and excellent time management skills will be crucial
