Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain a state-of-the-art PAAS infrastructure tailored for the banking domain, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate and deploy applications and services in the banking sector.
* Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and resolving issues, and implementing improvements to maintain peak performance and availability in a highly regulated environment.
* Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, configuration, and management of the PAAS environment, with a focus on compliance with banking regulations and industry standards.
* Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect our PAAS infrastructure and applications from potential threats and vulnerabilities, while adhering to the strict security requirements of the banking domain.
* Provide 24/7 support for the PAAS environment, responding to incidents and escalating issues as necessary, while maintaining regulatory compliance.
* Stay ahead of the curve by researching and adopting new technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our PAAS environment, while keeping up with the latest trends and regulations in the banking sector.
* Document and maintain comprehensive, regulatory-compliant documentation of the PAAS infrastructure, processes, and procedures, ensuring knowledge transfer and ease of onboarding for new team members.
* Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement by providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members, while adhering to the standards and practices of the banking industry.
* Participate in project planning and estimation activities, providing input on technical feasibility and resource requirements, with a focus on the unique challenges and constraints of the banking industry.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar DevOps or PAAS engineering role, preferably within the banking domain.
* Strong proficiency in cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with a focus on compliance with banking regulations and industry standards.
* Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, in a regulated environment.
* Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation, with an understanding of their applicability in the banking domain.
* Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or other relevant languages, while considering the security and compliance requirements of the banking sector.
* Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab, with a focus on integration with banking applications and systems.
