Sr. Customer Product Marketing Manager Summary:
The Senior Customer Product Marketing Manager is a key member of the broader Marketing team and will partner with our Sales, Customer Success, International, and Demand Generation teams to create messaging, content, and assets that effectively communicate key advantages that our solutions have to support the buying journey. This position will join the US-based Product Marketing team. It will create expansion journeys with messaging, customer advocacy, and programs designed to retain and grow our customers throughout their lifecycles.
This role provides an opportunity to positively influence and impact Delinea’s marketing and customer success and productivity, by building unique customer experience. You will serve as the expert on the Delinea customer journey for our sales and marketing teams, arming them with insights on how to speak about the value and differentiation we provide our customers. The ideal candidate for this role thrives in a dynamic, innovative environment and brings experience in various facets of product marketing.
This position may require up to 20% travel. The candidate will be located remotely and based in the US. This position reports to the Vice President, Product Marketing.
What You'll Do:
Create programs and compelling messaging to introduce new products and services to relevant customers, creating sales opportunities
Work with the Customer Success Team to identify customers to capture powerful stories about the impact of Delinea’s products within their organizations. Bring these stories to life via case studies, testimonials, speaking engagements, videos, and more
Lead and manage customer engagement programs, including in-person/virtual events, workshops, roundtables, Sales Kick Off, and customer advocacy sessions.
Develop and deliver customer-centric communications strategies and plans to engage, nurture, and update customers about new products and offerings
Create compelling marketing content for account management/customer success to help at-risk customers
Build client advocates: identify and match key customers with priority opportunities to share their story as a part of the customer reference program, help build customers' brand through key speaking engagements
Supporting cross-functional teams in all geographies to take a customer-first lens on their activities and interactions, prioritize and accelerate delivery of high-impact outcomes, and help them to achieve their goals
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience.
5-7 years of full-time work experience in Product Marketing at a fast-paced Software-as-a-Service company (Cybersecurity strongly preferred) or a cloud startup.
A passion for customers
Consistent record of defining, launching, and driving new cross-functional programs
Experience shaping content and storytelling to be used in marketing programs and events
Excellent written and oral communication skills and comfortable writing for and speaking to a wide array of technical and non-technical stakeholders
Self-starter who thrives in an environment where initiative is rewarded and where you can work independently under little supervision, with excellent organizational skills supporting the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Pragmatic Marketing, and Forrester Decisions Certifications are highly desirable
Experience with enterprise-class security products and enterprise information systems is a plus
