Clinical and Communication Responsibilities Provide excellent customer care skills to ensure patients and participants come first. The post holder will act as patient and participant advocate at all times, the post holder will be expected to co-ordinate research clinics and organise study related care. They will implement and evaluate strategies to identify and assist in the enrolment of research participants.

The post-holder will lead on a portfolio of research studies and perform a range of clinical assessments in line with accepted standards of practice. They will communicate proactively with the study and clinical teams to ensure good participant experience and adherence to study protocols. The post holder will be responsible for case report form completion, site file management, implementation of amendments and maintenance of databases. The Gastrointestinal Medicine and Surgery research team delivers studies across the multidisciplinary gastrointestinal department. The team is made up of Principal Investigators and Sub-investigators, Research Nurses and Clinical Research Practitioners who work together to deliver studies to high standards across both Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospital sites.

Fairfield High School is seeking to employ, on a permanent basis, a Science Technician for 37 hours per week, term time only plus 7 additional days. Part time hours can be considered if requested. We welcome applications for specialists, or those with a commitment to develop in Science. You will work in close liaison with teachers and other technicians and assist in the day-to-day preparation of teaching resources and maintenance of equipment. You will join a team of technicians and the successful candidate will be logical, have good time management and be able to use their own initiative and work alone at times.
Hours of work will be 8.00am – 4.00pm Mondays to Thursdays, 8.00am - 3.30pm Fridays (inclusive of a 30 minute unpaid lunch break) . Actual salary based on points 7 – 9, will be £21,110 - £21,827 (full time equivalent of £24,294 - £25,119).

As a Band 5 Clinical Research Nurse, you will be based in the CRF, and will be responsible for the co-ordination of clinical trials in the clinical genetics research team carried out in the Clinical Research Facility. This will include the complete life cycle of the research study, from set up to delivery and archiving in parallel with meeting agreed patient recruitment targets.

We are one of the largest cardiac MRI scanning centres in the UK. Our Imaging Clinical Research Facility is based in our St Thomas Hospital campus with strong research collaboration focusing on the development of novel acquisition, reconstruction and motion correction using different field strength MRI scanners. The facility is run by King’s College London, the University partner in close partnership with Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. Clinical services are delivered to approximately 13,000 patients a year (Cardiac MRI, Perinatal MRI and the PET Centre), and were recently re-accredited in accordance with the Quality Standard for Imaging (QSI) 2021

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Cardiac MRI Radiographer to join our nationally accredited clinical research imaging team. The department supports and mentors Radiographers in their personal and professional development including actively encouraging staff to attend high profile national and international seminars, conferences, presenting posters, abstracts and presentations.

We have a reputation for clinical excellence and high quality teaching and research. We are part of King’s Health Partners, one of eight accredited UK academic health sciences centres. In partnership with King’s College London we have dedicated clinical research facilities and a National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Biomedical Research Centre.

The main purpose of this post is to participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team within our Cardiovascular Imaging Department to deliver an efficient, effective and timely Cardiac MRI service, supporting a strong portfolio Clinical Research Imaging programmes run by the Imaging Clinical Research Facility.

The successful candidate will work with clinicians, researchers and biomedical engineers whilst performing excellent quality imaging studies in accordance with the departmental protocols.

Our Shift Leader rate of pay starts from £14.28 an hour; this increases to £15.41 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location and skills.

It’s our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.

An opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Children’s Clinical Research Nurse, on a 12-month fixed term basis, to join our dynamic and friendly Paediatric Genetics Research team to support and lead on the delivery of high quality, holistic care to children and young people participating in paediatric genetics research studies. Evelina London is the first children’s hospital to be rated as outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The paediatric clinical research team continues to work to this level of excellence and all team members will have the opportunity to contribute to this work.

As a Children’s Research Nurse you will be working with the wider multidisciplinary team across commercial and non commercial studies to deliver a seamless pathway for patients participating in research trials/studies.

You will be responsible for the holistic nursing care of children / young people and their families on existing and new clinical trials and contribute to the assessment and management of their care pathways.

This will involve leading on study set up activities, screening, recruiting, educating and monitoring children and young people in studies as well the collation and documentation of study data. You will be trained to take informed consent for selected studies which do not involve a medicinal product.

We provide a comprehensive induction programme and actively encourage opportunities to develop new clinical and leadership skills . The normal working hours for the post is Monday - Friday 9am- 5pm although flexibility may be required accommodate patient visits and assessments outside of these hours.
