Vehicle Technician role:

• To observe, recognise and report on vehicle or component defects or symptoms of impending failure.
• To examine vehicles completely and report orally or in writing upon the vehicles condition, safety and reliability and performance (MOT).
• To protect all vehicles under repair against damage and to inspect each vehicle for damage and cleanliness upon completion of repair.
• To attend recognised courses of instruction as and when required and to assist in the training of apprentices upon assignment.

Salary: £12.04 per hour

Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am - 5pm, Friday 7am - 15.30 pm



Your role:



A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a General Operative to join our Reconditioned team at our Derby site.



This role will be responsible for safely and accurately sorting, repairing and manufacturing pallets in a timely manner, using the
tools and equipment provided, ensuring that you work at your optimum level to maximise your output and quality of the products in
line with the required specification.



You will be responsible for working effectively to ensure that workstations are set up to be efficient, a continuous high level of
output is maintained during each shift and to ensure your tools & equipment are safe to use at all times by completing all
relevant checks and reporting any defects. You will undertake all tasks that are delegated to you by Supervisors and Managers on
site.



You will play a key part in the team to adhere to our Health and Safety Procedures and Policies to maintain the required high
safety standards, which includes wearing your Personal Protective Equipment when stipulated. You will act as a key member of the
Scott Pallets team and demonstrate the company values when dealing with all internal and external stakeholders. You must be
punctual and follow the company attendance procedure.



As a General Operative, you will work effectively with others, have excellent time keeping, be a team player and understand the
wider site processes to support when able to do so. A can-do attitude and excellent attention to detail are key to success.

Role Overview:
Our client is looking for a Credit Control Specialist to join their Central London Head Office, supporting their award-winning client service. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll manage credit control activities and engage directly with clients and stakeholders. They offer year-round training and development in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:


- Prepare and issue regular debtor reports, highlighting overdue invoices and recommended actions

- Minimise bad debt exposure and work with Centre Managers on payment requests

- Conduct credit checks and notify accounts of potential bad debts

- Take necessary legal actions, including filing claims and court representation

- Establish direct debit collection processes and assist in a software transition

- Reconcile bank transactions and allocate credit notes/payments accurately

- Support GDPR compliance and manage financial documentation

- Assist with Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Client (KYC) processes

- Participate in training to enhance skills and product knowledge

Requirements:

GCSEs in Business or similar - Essential

- 2+ years in a similar role - Essential

- Solid accounting knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office - Essential

- Familiarity with Yardi or NetSuite - Desirable
