About The Role
You will be working Monday to Sunday, 19 shifts per month, 14:00 to 22:00, 35 hours per week, on a permanent, full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all areas allocated are cleaned to the highest standard possible.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to all residents and clients whom you come into contact with.
• To be a part of the overall team maintaining the policies, company rules and quality.

Main Duties:

• Ensure the staff uniform is worn and standards of appearance are maintained at all times; all protective and external wear to be worn at all times.

UCLH, supported by Capital Midwife, are seeking to recruit experienced and motivated internationally educated midwives to join the UCLH Maternity workforce to deliver high standards of care to our patients, and take your career forward within an outstanding Trust. Candidates must beresidents in the UK at time of placing their application.
The successful candidate will be provided with an 18-month fixed term contract, initially appointed as a band 4 pre-registration midwife, whilst preparing to take the NMC Test of Competency (OSCE). Upon successfully passing the NMC OSCE and joining the NMC register, you will progress to a band 5 registered midwife position. You will receive full financial funding to undertake and take the OSCE course and exam. Should the required competencies be met within this 18-month period, you can be supported to apply for a permanent band 6 position.


Upon successful entry onto the UK NMC Register, the post holder will undertake a 12-month rotational preceptorship programme covering all clinical areas of the Maternity Service. This includes facilitating care to women during the antenatal, intrapartum and period in different maternity settings. This includes personally facilitating births and managing common obstetric emergencies alongside the multidisciplinary team.

We have a great opportunity for an internal Recruiter to join our client on a temporary ongoing contract. We are looking for a hands-on, experienced Recruitment/Talent Resource who thrives on the challenge of working in a high volume, fast paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Shortlist applications on the applicant tracking system
• Source candidates from various job boards, LinkedIn, headhunting
• Pre-screen candidates and book interviews into the relevant diaries
• Work in partnership with the other members of the Talent team to ensure appropriate recruitment support is provided across the business.
• Advertising vacancies, conducting CV and telephone screening on applicants.
• Schedule interviews / Assessment Centres as required with Hiring Manager, Candidate & recruitment support.
• Advise Hiring Manager on the best selection method for the position in line with company best practice.
• Manage job offers for successful applicants as per process for internal and external positions.
• Support at recruitment events, for example job fairs and internal career events.
• Support with larger volume recruitment campaigns
• Managing candidate enquires and applications.

Person Specification

• 1-2 years of talent resourcing or recruitment experience, either in-house or at a recruitment agency
• Some experience successfully sourcing for hard-to-find, hard-to-engage talent in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Experience within the construction sector would be an advantage
• Strong sense of urgency, initiative and problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
