- Responsible for developing policies and procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility, and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data.
- Conducts risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs.
- Conducts cyber security operations evaluations, audits, reviews and assesses systems security contingency plans and disaster recovery procedures
- Implements, maintains, and conducts on-site and remote/virtual analyses of information system (IS) standard security products and associated systems.
- Provides technical reports to management that depict the status of the security products and the holistic security posture of the applicable (e.g., CCRI, CORA, ICS/OT, Cloud, PIT, CDS) operations at the site, or areas under evaluation.
- Prepares and presents formal and informal briefings to chain-of-command management on assigned projects, and to other organizations as part of the review process.
