• The Division performs exciting, highly relevant work on Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS), remotely controlled devices and other autonomous / robotic platforms.
• Engineers/Scientists will support technical analysis of various commercial-off-the-shelf and dual-use devices, including Radio-Controlled Improvised Explosive Devices (RCIED), Uncrewed Systems (UxS) (air, land, and/or sea), and other electronics.
• The position will support efforts across the Division and will report to the Division Chief.
• Supports planning, coordination, monitoring, and completion of threat device analysis, device documentation, surrogate design, prototype verification and validation, threat trends awareness, dissemination, and briefing of products.
• Engages in Cross-Organizational meetings, program technical reviews and senior level engagements providing insight into division capabilities and coordinating support to internal customers.
• Supports planning, coordination, monitoring, and completion of project proposals, technical projects, reports, briefings, and other projects and products within the division, providing project management guidance on branch projects.
• Assesses division capabilities, products and processes and provides recommendations for improvements, future capability upgrades, customer requirements and technology advancements, and plans and coordinates implementation of improvements.
