Your new role
As a VAT Assistant Manager in the tax team, you will report to the VAT Director and support the VAT Managers. Your responsibilities will include preparing and submitting VAT returns and EC Sales Lists (ECSLs) for specific territories, which involves collaborating with country finance teams to enhance processes and data accuracy. Additionally, you will provide ad-hoc support to the VAT Director on various non-compliance Indirect Tax matters.

Pennine Home Treatment Teams are split into 2 locality bases covering the Pennine Area. We have an exciting opportunity for forward thinking, highly motivated, innovative, dedicated practitioners to provide care and treatment for those service users who require support from the Home Based Treatment Team.

Practitioners in the team are dedicated to working with vulnerable service users in their own homes, preventing further deterioration to avoid the need for admission to hospital. We have close working relationships with Community Mental Health Teams and other services across the network such as Mental Health Liaison, Frequent Attenders and Early Intervention teams. We work closely with the Initial Response services where you will also be expected to be located at times to support the pathway.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Team Manager to lead the Mental Health Team alongside the Service Manager and second Team Manager. You will be responsible for promoting Blackburn with Darwen’s vision, objectives and priorities effectively to our staff, partners and the public. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills alongside ensuring that the residents of Blackburn with Darwen are discharged from hospital in a safe and timely manner.

This role will be an integral part of the management team working collaboratively with colleagues across all local authority departments and with our health partners leading the vision, transformation and strategic direction of the Council.

In your position as the Mental Health Team Manager you will offer leadership to the local authority social workers and assessment and review officers. You will understand the value and importance of integrated working with partner agencies in delivering support and protection to individuals, carers and their families whilst ensuring safe and effective discharges from hospital. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Central and West Network for a Senior Nurse Manager (SNM). The SNM will work directly with the Deputy Director of Nursing and Quality to oversee the Central and West Inpatient and 136 services.

We are therefore seeking an experienced Band 8b SNM for the Central and West Network, this post will cover the inpatient services across Chorley, Preston and Ormskirk and the 136 suites in Chorley and Ormskirk.

The SNM has responsibility for the leadership and management of nursing across the designated hospital site/s; this includes line management of the Matrons. The SNM will support the Network Director and Deputy Director of Nursing & Quality in all issues relating to nursing within the hospital sites and is an integral part of the senior nurse leadership structure.

The SNM will establish and foster an effective working relationship with the hospital management team to lead improvements in nursing, service delivery and the achievement of organisational priorities. An exciting opportunity is available to join our Mental Health Liaison Team (MHLT) located at RBH in the John Hewitt Pod (directly across A&E Ambulance bay)

The successful applicant, will provide administrative support to the Clinical Team working closely beside clinicians.

MAIN DUTIES: To work within the model of the Treatment Room Team, providing leadership, support and line management to ensure high standards of clinical practice and professional conduct.
