The role will include:

- Carrying out construction and repair work on all of our networks from LV up to and including 11/33kV.

- Being responsible for the safety of yourself and colleagues, whilst acting as an ambassador for a strong safety culture in everything you do.

- This role can be demanding, and you'll also be required to respond quickly to any emergency situations that may arise as we want to provide the best possible service to our customers in their time of need.

- Working outdoors in all weather conditions with a requirement to undertake out of hours standby duties and short notice attendance for storm situations.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- DNO Industry in the UK or overseas recognised overhead line qualifications in LV, HV, 11kV & 33kV from a recognised training school; experience or qualification in 11kV Live Line working is highly advantageous.

- A proven track record in construction, repair and operation of electrical plant and equipment.

- A high regard for safety, embedding yourself in our safety culture and adhering to guidelines in everything you do is a key priority, strong communication skills and an ability to convey technical aspects in a transferable manner, enthusiasm and drive with a flexible approach to work and an ability to adapt to changing business and project priorities.

- A flexible approach to complete out of hours stand-by duties and attend short notice work in the event of severe weather.

- It is an essential requirement you have a full UK driving licence.

As a point of contact for the People and Culture team you will support with managing, Freedom of Information requests, sharing and disclosure of personal information requests and data breach recording.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the process for Subject Access Requests by circulating to the appropriate manager, collating and redacting information to comply with Data Protection Act.
Manage and circulate requests for information to the appropriate colleagues, collating responses and supplying information to the requestors, ensuring compliance with the GDPR, Freedom of Information Act and adhering to strict legislative timescales.

As such, they will receive high levels of support and guidance to keep them safe as well as guidance to enable them to learn new skills to help with a successful transition to independence and adulthood.

We are looking for passionate Residential Support Workers to join one of our homes in Dorchester. You will be a part of a team that provide flexible and individual care packages towards all our children and young adults. Working for Budwood, you will be joining a supportive and collaborative team which recognises you as an individual. All staff are trained in 'Developmental Trauma' and therapeutic parenting to best aid your understanding and ability to provide young people with the best support possible.

Main Duties and Requirements:

• Experience of working with children and young people as well as understanding of the issues that face young people in care
• Flexibility in your availability as you will be required to work 7 x 24 hour shifts including sleep ins over a 3 week rotation- 09:00am- 09:30am the following day
• Promoting, safeguarding and protecting the welfare of our young people
• Establishing and maintaining positive and trusting relationships with our young people
• To work well as part of a team and must be able to accept direction and guidance
• Encouraging the development of the individual interests of our young people
• Hold Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma/Children and Young People's Workforce/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent - or be willing to work towards a required qualification and upgrade to a Level 4 diploma
• Have a full UK driving licence and car as this role will involve travelling.
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Be willing to learn
• Be able to work well as part of a small team
• Be willing to undertake a DBS check at enhanced level if successful for the position. Your DBS check shall be paid for by ourselves
