An exciting job opportunity has arisen for dedicated Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an exceptional nursing home based in the Ledbury, Herefordshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers

This service is a unique care hub with a Nursing Home, ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) Unit and ICU (Intermediate Care Unit). The nursing home has an overall ‘Good’ CQC rating and is currently working towards achieving “Outstanding”

As the Deputy Manager your key responsibilities include:
• Assist the Service Manager in providing leadership to staff in order to deliver the highest possible quality of care within a safe working and living environment
• Lead the nursing teams to provide high quality, person centred care and support in way which promotes: dignity; privacy; safety and independence and which promotes equality & diversity for everyone living and working in the Service
• Support the Service Manager to manage the effective use of resources, including those which impact on the financial performance of the Service, and maintain high levels of occupancy
• Comply with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times
• Ensure the smooth and effective running of the transitional unit within the home and liaise with external health professionals
• Provide Clinical Leadership and supervision within the Service
• Will have full accountability for Infection Control implementation and audit throughput the service

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Previous experience as a Clinical Lead or Senior Nurse
• A strong knowledge of person-centered care
• Working closely with each resident, assessing their needs and delivering a care plan that helps each person to live a fuller life
• Need to have demonstrable experience supporting elderly service users, preferably those with dementia

Are you a Tutor, Teacher, Cover Supervisor, Mentor, Learning Support Assistant?

TeacherActive are looking for flexible supply staff to work on an emergency cover, day to day or short term basis in Secondary Schools in the Hereford area.

What is emergency cover?

As best as they can, schools will always try to pre-book in any supply cover they need, sometimes days or weeks ahead. But unforeseen changes in there staffing levels can happen quickly, and on the day cover is needed.

Schools will ring us any time from 7am-8:30am letting us know their requirements for that day. That is when we would call you, our emergency cover supply teacher / cover supervisor and offer you the work we have for that day.

You will be covering lessons for the absent member of staff. Lessons will already be pre-planned and prepared. The lessons could be in one subject area, or in different subjects throughout the day.

We know emergency cover doesn’t work for everyone, so if you are looking for supply work, but emergency, on the day cover doesn’t work for you, we would still like to hear from you! We also have opportunities for staff looking for advanced bookings, short-term roles, long-term roles and permanent posts.

Updating and re-sequencing make up stands in major high street retailers, working with leading brands such as L’Oréal Paris, Nyx Professional Make Up, Max Factor, Rimmel and Maybelline.

Momentum Instore have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Beauty Merchandiser on a flexible basis, working 8-hour days Monday to Friday as and when we have projects (2025).

We have a busy 6 weeks from the start of January 2025 (schedules of work to be given in December) and are looking for key people in your location. Paid training days will take place in December and paid before Christmas.

Work throughout 2025 on a project-by-project basis.

Role and Responsibilities


Visiting retailers and using detailed planograms to update the stand (attention to detail)
Moving and installing new parts around and resequencing stock according to a new planogram
