Role Overview:
As an Account Manager and Controller at our company, you will play a crucial role in overseeing both the financial aspects and the supply chain management of our vegetable supply business. This position requires flexibility to work during public holidays and occasional night shifts to ensure smooth operations, particularly when ordering vegetables from overseas suppliers. You will be responsible for managing sales operations, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Financial Management and Control:
1. Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
2. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
3. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
4. Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
5. Coordinate and manage audits, addressing findings and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Supply Chain Management:
6. Coordinate with overseas suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of vegetables.
7. Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to meet demand.
8. Optimize logistics and distribution processes to minimize lead times and reduce costs.
9. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure efficient handling and storage of vegetables.
Sales Management:
10. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
11. Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with wet markets and restaurants.
12. Monitor sales performance and analyze market trends to adjust strategies as needed.
13. Provide sales forecasts and insights to support inventory planning and procurement decisions.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
14. Lead a team of sales representatives and administrative staff, providing guidance and support.
15. Delegate tasks and set performance targets, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
16. Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability.
17. Coordinate cross-functional efforts with other departments, such as operations and marketing, to achieve common goals.
Flexibility and Availability:
18. Demonstrate flexibility to work during public holidays and occasional night shifts to meet business needs.
19. Coordinate schedules and workload distribution to ensure adequate coverage and timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in financial management, supply chain management, and sales, preferably in the agriculture or food industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, supply chain processes, and sales strategies.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
