Royal Holloway’s Marketing team is responsible for motivating and engaging target external audiences by identifying, bringing to life and effectively expressing Royal Holloway’s stories through a variety of channels in the most inspiring, impactful and relevant way.
The Digital Communications Manager (Website) leads the planning and development of an approach to digital content, user journeys and functionality on Royal Holloway’s main website that strengthens the University’s reputation and supports its growth ambitions. They support the Head of Digital in championing best practice, the University’s brand and a digital first approach across all colleagues, and bring design, content and UX expertise to the website.
As part of the Digital Communications team, you’ll leverage data and stakeholder consultation to lead the development and maintenance of website content, ensuring it is accurate, timely and engaging. You’ll take responsibility for new website strategies, projects and policies – under direction of and in collaboration with the Head of Digital.
To succeed, you will need excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills, and both a creative and analytical mindset. You’ll have a proven track record of working with websites and digital content in a professional environment, and understand trends in both the digital landscape and audience behaviour. If you’re energetic, can handle multiple projects and enjoy working in a team, we’d like to hear from you.
