Ainscough Crane Hire refurb centre are recruiting for a dedicated Fabricator, Welder & Vehicle Body Repairer to bolster our dynamic engineering team based in Stockton. This position is based in Stockton, but you must be prepared to travel to other site locations to carry out any fabrication work if necessary.

What You'll Do
As a crucial member of our maintenance team, you'll work alongside our skilled Maintenance Supervisor and Fitters to ensure our cranes are in prime condition at all times. Your key responsibilities will include:
Taking charge of any special projects e.g. not necessarily on road vehicles e.g. steel structures Working closely with the workshop supervisor and workshop manager
Carry out refurbishment work on the fleet of cranes and ancillary equipment within the Ainscough fleet.
What We're Looking For
Must have recognised apprenticeship within the fabrication /welding /vehicle panel repair field for a minimum 3 years. Fully conversant with MIG, TIG and argon arc welding equipment. Capable of preparing and understanding engineering drawings, working within tolerances. Be conversant with various powered bending machines, drills, saws etc. Be able to use various methods of cutting e.g. oxy/acetylene, plasma etc.
Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Recognised apprenticeship withing the fabrication / welding / vehicle pane; repair field for a minimum of 3 years
- Fully conversant with MIG, TIG and argon arc welding equipment
- Capable of preparing and understanding engineering drawings
- Conversant with various powered bending machines, drills, saws etc.
