Job Purpose The Chief Information Officer (CIO) will play a pivotal role in the Groups leadership team. Independently assess, plan and identify mental health needs, facilitate appropriate care and treatment.

Non-Medical Prescribing: Registered practitioners who are Non-Medical Prescribers are accountable for their prescribing activities by ensuring they are aware of their professional accountability and any restrictions or special considerations in their prescribing practice. Qualified Non-Medical Prescribers must register their qualification with their Professional Body and with the Trust Database in accordance with the Trust Non-Medical Prescribing procedure. Supplementary prescribers must work within Clinical Management Plans in close association with a medical practitioner.

NOTE: This is a TEMPORARY appointment (not-to-exceed 11/30/2025). This appointment may be renewed for additional service in accordance with Agency needs for 1 additional year. Temporary positions offer health insurance (if the employee is expected to work at least 130 hours per month for at least 90 days) but do not offer life insurance or retirement benefits and may be terminated at any time before the expiration date. Duties include, but may not be limited to the following:

• Provides assessment and management of ambulatory patients seen in the Emergency Department.
• Evaluates patients for emergency medical conditions, ordering appropriate diagnostic studies and performing a wide range of treatment procedures under the direction of the supervising physician.
• Assists in behavioral/psychiatric situations to include crisis intervention, management of aggressive or suicidal psychiatric patients, and one-to-one observations.
• Assists Emergency Department Physicians with complex, specialized, and potentially life threatening procedures.
• Performs airway management using Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure (BIPAP) and advanced airway techniques.
• Operates specialized medical equipment such as defibrillators, electrocardiographs, and oxygen apparatus
• Performs additional duties include dressing changes, wound management, suture removal, repair of simple lacerations, foley catheters insertion, splint, binder and bandage applications, and performance of tracheotomy care.
• Performs specimen collection, preparation and transfer to the lab for processing of blood, tissue, urine, stool and sputum.
• Responds to medical emergencies on the facility grounds, and sometimes encounters situations which may be life threatening as part of the Rapid Response Team (RRT) as assigned.
• Conducts or assists with the training of personnel in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), basic, and advanced emergency medical care techniques if appropriately trained and qualified.
• Conducts or assists with stand-downs, community health programs, blood pressure and glucose screenings, flu immunizations, etc.
• Transports monitored and unmonitored patients to diagnostic procedures and/or inpatient units.
• Performs triage duties as assigned.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday; Shifts vary and will be discussed during interview.
