As a Security Officer, you will play a key role in the team's delivery of security and have a firm focus on delivering high levels of customer service.

We are looking for professional, diligent & customer focused individuals to join our team and help create a memorable experience for every visitor and exhibitor who comes to any of the NEC Group venues.

This role is for 12 hour shifts on a four on four off basis this will include weekends

Main Duties:

• Acting as a first line support to employees and visitors to the site, providing a professional and friendly service
• Investigate and report all allegations of loss, theft, criminal damage and other incidents
• Fire, security and building systems monitoring
• Managing crowd safety and queue management
• Help ensure the safety of all residents, guests and staff at sites throughout your shift
• Monitoring and maintaining the pedestrian flow at key areas inside and outside the arena
• Be aware of and react to emergency situations as detailed in the Incident and Emergency Plans
• Deterring anti-social behaviour, theft and criminal activity

To be successful in the role, you will need:

• SIA Licence is essential.
• Experience of working within the security industry/environment is an advantage.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• An enthusiastic, can-do attitude.
• Significant experience in a public facing, customer service role with the ability to deal with challenging situations

About The Role
To work alongside all guest services departments in a large shopping centre and an operational control room

Assisting in other general duties as requested by Senior Management and working towards streamlining processes. You will be working on a rotating 4-day-on-4-day-off shift pattern, 20:00 to 08:00, 42 hours per week, on a permanent, full-time basis. Main Duties:

Job Overview: We are looking for a dynamic IT Security Project consultant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology, security project management, and cyber security aiming to make a significant impact in a growing company.

Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and external stakeholders, ensuring efficient execution of IT security engagements, including CRM systems, data repositories, and other technologies.
• Facilitate clear communication with external stakeholders, coordinating meetings, outlining and breaking down implementation of SOC services, processes, and documenting action items, focusing on streamlining project processes through technology.
• Collaborate with internal IT security experts to develop and implement robust security processes for SOC services, testing services and other service offerings.
• Conduct regular IT risk assessments, identifying potential vulnerabilities in recruitment technologies and coordinating mitigation strategies.
• Engage with external IT vendors, focusing on recruitment technology solutions.
• Ensure IT projects and systems comply with industry standards, focusing on process optimization.
• Participate in marketing activities to spread brand awareness of the company and represent the company at events as necessary.

Additional Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing and updating policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Coordinate training sessions for employees and clients on information security best practices.
• Monitor IT systems for compliance with standards like ISO 27001.
• Recommend and implement improvements to maintain compliance and enhance security.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in any field (Recent graduates encouraged to apply).
