The Group Commercial unit englobes the Sales, Relationship Management, Client Services, Marketing, and Product Development teams of IQ-EQ. Group Commercial is the department responsible for the retention of our existing client base in coordination with the rest of the Group, and responsible for overseeing business growth efforts on behalf of IQ-EQ.
One of our key objectives is to grow our profitable portfolio of clients, manage the existing relationship, building long-term relationships, and to ensure full satisfaction with the services received from IQ-EQ.
Department Overview – Sales Operations & Enablement
Sales Operations is responsible for:
- Ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of Commercial activity across the broader team
- Increase sales effectiveness and productivity by providing centralised content deliver business productivity and efficiencies of day-to-day processes
- To embed global disciplines & consistencies
- Delivery of first-class proposals / RFPs
- Management, maintenance, and reporting of GSS Commercial budgets
- Management of regular and ad hoc Sales Operations Communications
- Data intelligence and reporting to drive sales and management MI
- Identify Risks to plan and remediation planning and execution
Job Summary
As a Senior Associate, Sales Operations you should be a highly organised and detail-oriented individual. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and technical support to the Sales Operations team, ensuring smooth workflows and accurate data management. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including data analysis, reporting, process and governance improvement plans. Under the stewardship of the Global Head, Sales Operations, you will work directly/indirectly with wider Commercial Team and all Chief Commercial Officers (CCOs) to ensure the planning, organising, and in support of all aspects of the commercial business, ensuring efficient operations, profitability, and in line with all strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Support and all aspects of daily operations, including Transformational Deals, Business at Risk, Commercial Toolkits, budgeting, finance, human resources, marketing, and sales.
- Support efficient resource allocation and cost control.
- Support the Implementation and improve operational processes to optimise performance and minimise risks.
Financial Management:
- Support the development and management of the department's budgets
- Track and analyse financial performance metrics.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (senior management, wider commercial team, CCOs, CCO Support).
Problem-Solving & Decision-Making:
- Analyse complex problems and identify effective solutions.
- Make timely and well-informed recommendations based on data and analysis to Group Head
- Adapt to changing market conditions and implement necessary adjustments
Content Creation and Curation:
- Work with Marketing teams to create high-quality content like sales presentations, product demos, and training
Reporting & Analysis:
- Generate basic sales reports using OneView data and other tools.
- Assist with creating custom reports as needed for the team
- Analyse basic sales data to identify trends and patterns.
- Present findings to the Sales Operations team and other stakeholders.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline current processes within Sales Operations.
- Document existing processes and procedures.
- Assist with implementing process improvements and updates.
- Support team members with learning and adapting to new processes.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Stay up-to-date on basic sales operations principles and best practices.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential issues related to data or processes.
- Be willing to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
