Property Clearance Operatives are needed to work in around the Black Country area.

The job duties and candidates are below and the jobs are working with one of the UK's largest Property Security, Maintenance and Management companies.

Duties will include:

• To drive the team van when required.
• All associated tasks as requested by the supervisor.
• Cleaning and clearing vacant social housing properties, both the interior and exterior gardens. after the tenant has vacated the property.
• Remove any lounge, bedroom or kitchen furniture left behind.
• Remove any other items left behind by tenant.
• Remove all furniture, carpets, underlay, lino, curtains & blinds from customer properties.
• Remove any old/damaged outbuildings/sheds from the garden.
• Trim back hedges and grassed garden areas
• Remove any debris left in gardens/tards/driveways.
• Deliver and retrieve security keys.
• Remove all old/damaged outbuildings/sheds from customer properties.
• Remove needles, bodily fluids & other contaminated objects on occasions when needed.
• To continually update the call centre during jobs where needed

Introduction

Working in Design Authority (DA), this post will focus on the provision of subject matter expertise for fire safety engineering and provide long-term assurance and benefits to Parliament.

As part of this role, you'll undertake a Building Management Systems (BMS) Apprenticeship at Level 4. We will enrol you onto the apprenticeship shortly after you join, and it will typically take 36 months to complete including the end point assessment. Introduction

The Parliamentary Maintenance Services Team (PMST), consists of approximately 115 in-house staff and a large number of contractors who maintain the Parliamentary estates (Commons & Lords). Our remit includes the buildings, engineering systems and furnishings to ensure a fully functioning, safe working environment equipped for the demands of the 21st century.

The Maintenance Projects team are an integral part of PMST and provide a flexible service to a variety of internal customers. We have grown substantially over the past 18 months and have a broad remit from asset replacement and fabric preservation to small projects which add value across the estate. Simply put, we manage maintenance projects from concept, through design and construction to completion, which is incredibly rewarding, especially when you see the end product!

The Role

We are looking for a Project Leader who will be Responsible for developing business cases, design, procurement, construction and handover for a range of Maintenance Projects across the Parliamentary Estate. Fundamental to this will be the ability to communicate well with an array of stakeholders and clients at various levels of the organisation.

The role is multi-disciplinary based, meaning that we are looking for a general project manager who may have a background in general building works or engineering and can turn their hand to specialist projects which could involve a heritage, security or multi-disciplinary component.

The general duties will broadly follow the RIBA stages and start at pre-construction with project definition, production of business cases, design and procurement management and other professional services such as building surveyors, QS, CDM advisors or external PMs. You will be expected to understand the design work being produced and co-ordinate the detailed review and input from a wide array of specialist stakeholders including the design authority (who police the parliamentary design standards

Some of the responsibilities for this role include:

• Reviewing Project requests assigned by the Line Manager.
• Meeting with the Requester / Client / End User, agree on the required work scope and ensure it is accurately recorded.
• Appointing a design team and managing the project brief's design and CDM aspects.
• Undertake all necessary stakeholder engagements to facilitate progression and acceptance of the scope.
• Manage the programme, budget and quality of the design.
• Procuring and appointing a contractor and managing the construction and CDM aspects of the project brief.

Skills and Experience

Essential Qualification and Experience:

• Degree educated (or minimum equivalent NVQ L5) in a construction related topic (e.g. Architecture, Engineering or Building surveying)
• Provide evidence of significant experience of managing multiple small / maintenance projects
