Purpose of the job/About the role

• To manage the suppliers and develop good relations with key suppliers based on mutual trust, confidence and cooperation in order to deliver effective supply chain solutions.

The job covers multi sites, it is therefore key that the Cluster Procurement Manager can work in a ‘stand-alone’ capacity, with excellent organisational and time management skills. Travel between the schools is required to meet the needs of the role.

The Role

• To manage a caseload of complex contracts and procurement work

You will be working as a Procurement Analyst, providing support to the Procurement team and wider stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: spend analysis, opportunity analysis, supplier / market analysis, preparation of business cases and tender analysis. You will be supporting the management and maintenance of the procurement systems, crunching numbers and also tackling procurement and administrative tasks where required.
