Digital Logistics Administrator
Fixed Term Contract 2 April – 31 December
Manchester: £23,100 - £25,100
Hybrid Working – This role is predominantly office based during the summer

Fifty percent of our recruitment is offered internally only which means that this Digital Logistics Administrator job could be your next job and the one after that.
The summer is a busy period for an exam board. You will be joining a strong team of 10 people within Digital Logistics. In the peak season, the team becomes over 100 people and you will have the opportunity to lead a team of up to 20 temporary staff. There are lots of different projects for you to get involved in and this could be a good stepping stone to gaining the right experience to become a permanent team leader or a process delivery lead across the business. This role will work in a “smart hybrid” manner, which means attending the office as business dictates. As this role is covering peak exam period, it is likely that you will need to be present in the office often to support the delivery.
Job Description
To support the team with the logistics of digital and physical materials, providing excellent customer service to internal/external customers and stakeholders. To enable departmental process delivery in a timely and cost effective manner, whilst ensuring quality is maintained.
What’s in it for me?
You will have a basic of 25 days annual leave per year (pro rata for the length of this contract), with Bank Holidays on top and a working week of 35 hours. There is a good pension; you can contribute up to 7% and we will put in 11.5% giving 18.5% towards your pension.
Who you are:
You will have experience in a similar role with strong IT & admin skills. You will also be a confident communicator with good people skills.
What do I need to be successful?
- Good written communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- A good understanding of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Self-motivated and willing to learn
- Results focused: must be able to work at pace in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy
- Have a commitment to ‘work and learn together’: build strong working relationships and own knowledge and learning to facilitate confident and timely administrative support
- Experience in a customer service/facing role is desirable as you will be working with a large team and supporting internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in a team leader role is beneficial but not essential. A desire to support in the leadership of others is equally valued.
